Hunter's Creek Golf Club

After reading reviews five of us decided to give it a shot. Staff very friendly and round took just over 3.5 hours. Greens looked a little shaky with some green spots but putted very true and they were very quick. Fairways were good, tees are more than acceptable and the traps were okay.

No cart lady, some traps lacking rakes and no one took the bags out of our car but the overall experience was very good and the price was great...give it a try.

Course has improved greatly with new ownership. Greens were fast and rolling true. The rough will get you in problems and fairways were plush with the exception of a couple of areas. I will definitely play this course again. Has new golf carts as well. Congratulations Hunters Creek for moving the needle forward.

I love this course. I am a member at Innisbrook and this course is comewhat similarly in the fact the length and mostly tree lined. There are a few areas that are roughy but they are in a transition of ownership. The greens are true and every tee box gives you a different hole. I play the tips and if you are to do so please fly the ball atleast 285 or you will have an unenjoyable round. Demands both draws and fades so be prey to move the ball both ways.

Enjoyed it very much. Good condition for the greens and fairways. Bunkers need a little work. Overall it is well worth the money.

Haven't played here in years as it had gone down hill with conditions, not so anymore. Course is in great shape, greens are very quick. Look forward to coming back.

Course was in excellent condition. Tees and greens were well kept and green. Staff was friendly. New carts. Going back next weekend.

I played this course and I must say the course itself...well whoever their greenskeeper is doing a fantastic job. So the course itself is in really good shape. It was a Saturday morning but not all that busy. The Pro shop is in total disarray and the guy at the front desk was brash and rude. NO professionalism whatsoever. The bathroom stunk of urine and the toilet would not flush. The same problem that they had a few months ago. The restaurant and even the bar was not open but after walking towards it, I must say I'll not be eating there. I saw dead cockroaches on the floor. Garbage cans inside and out were overflowing and cigarette cans full of butts. I'm not sure what they've done with the friendly, professional staff that used to work there but they have definitely not improved on service. The little blonde girl....have they gotten rid of her too??? How many times is this course going to change management companies BEFORE they finally get it right????? If youre looking for a good course to golf, I'd go . Just make sure you use the bathroom and bring your own drinks and eat before you go!

This course has come a long way in a short time under new management!

Fairways are softer than most in excellent condition. The greens are also in very good condition, on the quicker side. This is the best deal in town right now.

This course is in prestine conditions the greens are fast, the fairways are soft, and the bunkers are just right. They really take pride in the maintenance of the course.

Definitely play if you are in the area, I know I have my new course that I will go to regularly without a doubt.

From the white tee it plays for a 20 handicap maybe 30 handicap player.

From the back tees it’s just fun and long.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. First hole and the ninth hole are next to the clubhouse making the turn very easy, specially for some extra beer ;)

Fairways and greens were in good condition. Greens have actually improved quite a bit. Many tee boxes need to be rebuilt due to bare spots and uneveness. None of the bunkers have been worked on in a long time. Most seem to have drainage issues and those that don't have not been raked out in a very long time. Much better values out there for the price.

Lovely set up in very good condition-just a little damp on back 9 but understandable given rhe recent rain. Will definitely be back and wish I’d played it sooner!

I played this course on Sunday the 8th of July. It was a partly cloudy hot day but a nice breeze was out. The course is in great shape now since we have gotten a lot of rain. The Greens are in good shape and all are green. The tee boxes are in good shape as well. All of the fairways have come back to green and are rolling very well. A few of the bunkers need a little work but its been raining buckets the past few days. I enjoy the course lay out very much its fun and challenging but not difficult. You can use your driver a lot out there but watch your stroke count. Practice facilities are in great shape both putting green and driving range are great. The new golf carts are also awesome. Keep up the good work on the course and I will be back to play again soon.

Still a work in progress to bring this course back to where it once was but fantastic value at the moment. Front 9 in better shape than the back but clearly the owners are doing a lot to make it better.

At 30 or 40 dollars it is a great deal.

Under new management. Greens and fairways are on point and getting better. The restaurant/snack bar is not open yet, opening in two weeks. The course overall is in better condition and they’re working hard to get better. I’ll be back.

Nice course with friendly staff. Course just changed ownership and some improvements will be made. Bunkers need new sand and improvements.

Pace of play was good and it was not very crowded. In the weekends it is busier so longer rounds.

Overall it was a good experience. Staff was extremely friendly, however, there's room for improvement on the course conditions. They are transitioning to new management, so hopefully they will take care of what needs improvement.
