Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Shameful
I can't believe they've let this course get this bad,the greens are in poor condition and fairways are just as bad, the good side is you don't need to worry about replacing any divot because they're completely dry. I booked two tee times and I was embarrassed to charge my friends the booking fees. In addition there no cart girl and no Cook in the clubhouse.
Not worth whatever they charge.
Poor condition
Layout is fine, but fairways are yellow and dry as tinder. Like straw. Unfortunately the greens were not in good condition either. Much work required to get it back in shape. Very disappointing.
Course need work on greens
Probably a nice course when greens are rolled and new sod has grown in
Horrible condition
Greens were full of sand, holes and dry, tee boxes were full of holes and uneven, the entire course was dry as if they had not been watered in over 2 months, the sands were cement, we deserve a full refund
First Timer at Hunters Creek
This was my first time playing this course in my 6 years as a snowbird.
The course layout is very nice and there are many challenges, with lots of water and bunkers to avoid.
But the course is very dried out and overall the greens are in a state of disrepair.
Irrigation is sorely needed.
Greens were in deplorable shape. Most were partially covered in sand and most had numerous area that were like sand pits. Fairways were hard and grass was dead. . Similar to playing on dormant bent grass.
Poor condition
Course in terrible shape. Front greens mostly got me. Most fairways brown and hard packed.
There was no mention that the greens were in deplorable condition. On every hole!! Fairways dry as a bone! The sand traps had no rakes and were not groomed
The bag boy was extremely friendly but failed to mention the course conditions.
Bad Shape... Bad
Have played this course 4-5 times over the past year. Came out Saturday, after 4 holes my and my buddy were about to ask for our money back. 60% of greens covered in sand. No warning from club house or on golf now website when booking. Horrible shape. Bunkers were mud. Fairways dead but in good shape. Tee boxes looked like the grass on the range, nothing but divots.
I won't be back for a while, stinks cuz this used to be a good value course. It's maybe worth 10$ now.
poor to fair
I have a tee time scheduled for 3/28/2017, but if play is as slow as it was on Saturday when we played it this Tuesday will be the last time I ever play it. We had a foursome ahead of us that was slower than slow and apparently know enough to let us play through, it gets very frustrating to have to wait on every tee shot and there was nobody ahead of them holding them up. No course ranger? Can't complete the review because the drop down boxes cannot be accessed
Course needs work
Played this track in previous years and looks like the overall condition is worse. Greens were in poor shape. Looks like they were diseased with fungus or something. Tee boxes were unlevel and dry conditions. Staff was friendly and courteous. I'd wait to see if course condition improves before playing again.
Course is in horrible condition.
I have played here quite often, but I have never seen it in this condition. The greens were in simply horrible. Looks like they got a fungus and couldn't catch up with it.
Poor greens
Nice layout
Enjoyed challenging par threes
Greens have bare spots and bumpy
Little sand in most bunkers
I liked the course and will give it another shot. Never had the chance when we were finished to ask why but the greens were really bad like they had a disease of some sort. It looked like they were trying to address the issue but they were pretty ROUGH! The fairways were also very dry but every course we have played on this year in Florida has been very dry. A few good rains would help.
Course outlook
The golf course has a nice lay out. But there is a lot of blind shots where you don't know where the water is. There should be something on the score card to give you an idea of what the layout of each hole. Then the greens were in bad shape.
poor course
The greens were unplayable and pictures would not do it justice. The worst course we have ever played. Would not play it again for free.
