Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

cold
The course was in bad shape, greens had some hot spots. Fairway was soggy and bunkers was full of water. Staff was very friendly.
Not a 3.5 out of 5 Rating!
Played 18 holes with a partner and the course was not what was expected, even though the cost was reasonable. Course conditions was poor as far as fair ways and rough and there was no markers reasonable view as to distance to the green with the exception of a single concrete marker in the ground listing 200, 150 and 100 yards. These markers were not colored coded or easily visible unless you stood directly on top of them. It was a fairly challenging but did not enjoy my round.
Great course for beginner or average player.
Great course for average or beginner player. Great price! The staff were very friendly! First time using Golfnow. No problems at check in. Will definitely play there again.
Good Couse
It's a three star course and I would play it again.
Cheap course
This course is for beginners and kids. It needs some upkeep and the greens are rough but I did play in January. If you are a single digit hancicap find a different course.
less for same price
The experience started with having to go into the cart barn to get our own balls and that set the standard for our day at this course. The rest of the course experience was just ok.
Diappointing experience
This course and facility seems to have seen its day. The cart paths are rugged and the areas where there is heavy traffic without a path are bare and hard to play off of. There was a fivesome in front of us and a beginners threesome in front of them. The fairways are inconsistent but okay. The greens were okay. The staff were communicative and friendly.
Great layout but needs work
The layout of the course is really great. But the course is not in good conditions right now. If you want to play a long golf course - this is ist. But you have the option to pick the length you feel confertable in.
The deals you get over GN are great - but I guess thats because of the conditions the course is in.
At the bag drop nobody was there and for me the first time there, that wasn't helping.
Great Value!
Played Hunters Creek on back to back days as the value was excellent. If you are looking for a pro style conditioned course this is not it. But if you are looking for a course that is nice with a great value, this is a great track to play! When back in Orlando, I would play it again.
Great track!
Great course with lots of tee box selections! Pick your spot with caution...not your typical neighborhood walk in the park. This track has lots of character! LOL
Nice course but in need of some TLC
From what I heard, the course has slipped a little and was in fair condition when we played. With a little TLC, this would be a fun track to play from any of the tee boxes.
Great price if you are looking to knock a little rust off your game and the staff was very friendly (except the starter).
Course seems a bit tired
Conditions could be better but for $30 with cart it was a good value. Decent layout. Greens a little slow but fair.
Always enjoy playing this course when in the Orlando area.
A great course. Good pace of play. Friendly staff.
Well worth the visit
When we got there the weather was not worth thinking about but the staff were wonderful, they allowed us to delay the start time or cancel if we wanted to but being English we decided to make a go of it and the course was well worth the visit. The pace of play was fine, no delays and very little waiting on any tees. The staff were friendly and made us feel like members of the club.
Would recommend this course for many reasons and just as importantly the cost were very reasonable.
Wonderful layout
This course is challenging yet very fair, especially to the wallet. Tight landing areas off the tees require accurate drives. Several choices of tee boxes to fit everyone's handicap/age and the tips will humble those with the biggest egos. If you've never played here, you're missing out.
Sadly, u truly get what you pay for
It was not until I booked my family a tee time, that the disclaimer came up for nobody under 10 and no riders were permitted to come along. I called and talked to Vince and he said ,"as long as u don'tslow the pace of play". Well, this course took 5 hours to play, because there was NO MARSHALL and they sent groups out in rapid fire. The 2 groups ahead of us would wait til ppl reached the green before teeing off and there was nobody to speed up play! After the round when I asked why there was no Marshall, I was told by a bag boy that Mgt is too cheap and the man in the pro shop said it's not in the budget... So, u can't spare the rate of 1 foursome a day for a Marshall for a better experience?!? And for no rain all week, the course was extremely soft and wet and we were never told that the greens were aerrated. If I lived in FL I would picket the course so nobody ever played it.
Gem in the extreme rough
Nice enough layout .... Long !!! From the tips
Got a great deal on GN . 24 bucks ! Was not advised
Though that the greens were punched and top dressed. I should have known by the low price . You get what you pay for . Course could be all that with some more maintenance . Either way I was playing golf on Xmass day and I'm from the northwest .
Bit of a letdown
White tees were bare and covered in cigarette ends and broken tees
Front 9 seemed uncared for poor presentation.Lack of
Rakes throughout-just the odd one here and there.
Traps very poor even allowing for wet the day before.
Some greens were hollowtined others not.
Tees distances and cards and tee posts all contradicted each other.
Worst course we have played after some 7 weeks here.Very disappointing. As often happens no course marshal-no partners to make four ball although told we were. So slow we had to skip a hole to get past averyslow 4 ball. Not for us ,
Grow Some Grass
I know that it is now considered winter here in Florida, but come on, there is no reason for the lack of grass on the fairways and tee boxes. The fairways were like hitting off my driveway, all the way up to the greens. The greens were in good shape and fast, but they had no slope at all. Every put was flat and very fast. I just couldn't get over the fact that there were many places on the fairway and tee boxes that didn't have grass. I know that this is Orlando and I know that due to the tourists things tend to be expensive, but $6 for a package of crackers and small candy bar. Really??? That's just not right.
