About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Fun course.
The course is in very good shape. The staff are all super friendly.
Squirrel Run
It's a fun course ... Well maintained.. and challenging for work with irons and wedges
Need improvement
Improvement needed:
1- Signage of the hole (too outdated, paint faded, too small, confusing)
2- sand bunker need be cleaned (small branches and leaves, no rake available to use)
3- The 18th hole is too close to the parking (may be dangerous to hit car parked)
4- Configuration of holes is confusing.
5- Houses to close proximity (if bringing new players, may cause accidents on hitting the houses / cars).
6- Should convert to 9 hole course (par 3 too short for driver)

this course is awesome and affordable, challenging par 3 with 2 4's.. played today, it was windy and a lot of leaves on the fairways ,tee boxes, and greens..but thats fall golf usually.. played here in the summer and it was always in great shape.. there was no one infront and in back so i played 2 ball.. shot +13

Great course for tuning up the Irons.
This is a great little course for practicing those in between club shots that come up so often on the course. The greens are also very challenging with alot of undulation and some tough cup locations.
Nice casual golf
The Squirrel is a nice stress free golf course. Good course to work with your irons. Unfortunately, a lot of geese arrived recently and have left droppings on some of the greens. Hopefully the course managers can address this issue.
