About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Great course for tuning up the Irons.
This is a great little course for practicing those in between club shots that come up so often on the course. The greens are also very challenging with alot of undulation and some tough cup locations.
Nice casual golf
The Squirrel is a nice stress free golf course. Good course to work with your irons. Unfortunately, a lot of geese arrived recently and have left droppings on some of the greens. Hopefully the course managers can address this issue.
Good day of golf
Course was in good condition. Fairways well cared for, greens have filled in nice for the most part. (Too many divit holes on greens, players are not repairing ball marks). Tee boxes are small and get beat up easy.
Pace of play was excellent, no complaints. Staff is always great.
Squirrel Run Plymouth
The course is very nice. Greens and fairways are in excellent condition. It's an executive layout great for people that are just starting to play golf. The starter and person in the pro shop were vey laid back. Pace was slow but that was fine. We were a twosome following a foursome.
Pay for 1 golfer and stuck with 4some
Golf on a Saturday
If I buy a single golfer with cart included I expect to golf by myself. What should had been my wife and I driving around while I hit the ball turned into me showing up to my reserved t time and being partnered with 2 others and a 4th to join us. They credited my t time to go another time and we went to a different course that we could ride in the cart together.
Nice course, excellent staff
The Squirrel is a nice course, mostly par 3s. Greens are well cared for and fairways are OK. One disappointment is the tee boxes are small and unfortunately the divots don't get enough time to recover from past days use.
The staff is great as well as the course workers.
Nice course to work on your irons.
