Squirrel Run Country Club
About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

squirrel review
course is in good shape, greens are quick. only complaint is needs more sand in bunkers.
squirrel reviw
well maintained course all over. Traps could use a little more sand. Fairways and greens were beautifull. I will be back.
Best "Executive Course" on the South Shore
This course may be labeled an "executive course". But, it is my absolute favorite course on the South Shore. The layout is very good and the value is virtually unmatched.
Nice place to play
We played here in August. The course was in very good condition. It's a fast playing with a reasonable amount of challenge. Although it is a short course it plays like one much longer. The pace of play wasn't rushed or stalled. Over all, I will play again and would recommend Squirrel Run. We had a great time.
short game gem
great little executive layout in very good shape. If you need short game help, this is a very nice place to do it. Played 18 in 2 hours riding.
Grows on you
I've played 4x now and every visit makes me happy I found this place - you can hit driver a couple of times, then it's all 6 iron and up ( mostly up ) the green are kept beautifully and 18 holes takes 2 1/2 hrs - great, no pressure place to just swing your clubs and have fun !
Nice course to work on short-mid game
Course was in great shape. Greens were not boring with plenty of slopes/breaks. Plays fairly easy (only par 57) and is a good place to work on short to mid iron distances. Took a cart due to hot humid weather, but this course will be an easy and enjoyable walk. Staff were all very friendly and eager to help. Will definitely be back.
Squirrel Run
Great course. A lot of fun, greens in great condition and the staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to help. I would definitely recommend.
Great 'Long' Par 3 Course!
Course is actually a par 57 for 18 holes so there are a few longer holes (par 4's). Great course for a beginner as well as an experienced (better) golfer. Short holes keep the new golfer 'positive' and the experienced golfer can create a challenge using 'shorter' clubs. Course is well maintained.
Love this course!!
My husband and I love this course. It is somewhat challenging and excellent iron play. Dave and staff are always accommodating. We just wished we lived closer.
The food is awesome too if you can get your game in by 3:00.
Highly recommend this well manicured, and fun experience.
Very nice smaller course staff very good will play this course more often as I just had an ankle replacement and it is a very friendly and forgiving
Love this course!
I've been a beginner for about 10 years (lol!). I love this course because it's doable for me, some holes easy, others not so much. I recently took lessons from the pro and I feel I might be moving out of the beginner category! The people who work here are all helpful and personable. The course is well kept, although the grass could be shorter. Also, they might want to invest in some push carts.
