The golf course layout is special. It is a well designed golf course that is not being taken care of.

The greens were very acceptable and rolled nicely.

The tees, fairways and approaches were in poor condition.

As my favorite course in the area, I’ve been playing this course for years but it is in the worst condition by far that I’ve ever witnessed. Usually this course is in great condition and right now it’s not worth $50. I called and they tried to get $185/person. I booked online for $125/ea but it’s seriously not worth more than $50. I will not play here ever again unless something changes. Fairways, tee boxes and rough are complete garbage.

Only play once in a great while , price to high for me and my group of friends

I recently played a round at Oak Quarty Golf Course, and while the course itself is in good shape and offers a fun layout, there were several factors that made the experience less enjoyable.

First, the condition of the course is commendable. The greens were well-maintained, and the fairways were lush, providing a pleasant environment for golf. However, the pace of play was incredibly slow, particularly on the first six or seven holes. This significantly impacted our round and made the experience feel drawn out.

We played on a Saturday and paid $206 each, which is quite steep. Unfortunately, we were met with several disappointments. Many of the tee boxes were closed for overseeding, which was not communicated in advance. Additionally, we were looking forward to lunch at the course, but found the kitchen closed. They mentioned food would be available at the snack bar on the turn, but when we arrived, the selection was very limited—just one hotdog, one tuna sandwich, and one ham sandwich. Not exactly what you expect after a long, slow round.

In short, while Oak Quarty has potential with its well-kept course, the slow pace of play, uncommunicated closures, and lackluster food options left us feeling that it wasn't worth the price we paid. I hope they can address these issues, as the course itself is enjoyable and could be a great experience with some improvements.

Booked a tee time for 1:52PM. Showed up and the course was shutdown for a tournament. Food and Bar Closed. 90 Degrees out and no water coolers or cart girl or snack bar on course. Worse thing is, after 9 you do not pass the clubhouse and the snack bar after 11 is closed. Thought I was gonna pass out from heat and dehydration.

I like playing this course since the staff is friendly and the course is maintained better than average and it is a very beautiful picturesque course.

However, as a more serious golfer I do like to take the time to warm up on the driving range and have found that on at least the most recent two times I played the course in 6 months, the range was closed to my disappointment. There was no notice of this before hand.

Otherwise there is a putting green and chipping area with practice bunkers next to the range which I rate as average and decent for the short game warm up.
