Oak Quarry Golf Club

This course is a must play. Breathtaking views. Great layout. Excellent condition. GPS on carts which is very helpful. Loved it.

I was only able to play about five holes and I left. Every time I went to the Teebox they were about three other foursomes waiting. they book their people too close together. For the price it’s not worth it.

They over booked the course. Wait time in each tee box was over 20 mins.

Haven’t played here in over 10 years. Was looking forward to playing the course. Course is in poor condition. Sand traps are filled with dirt and rock. The pace of play was slow. 5 hour round and we were a twosome. For the cost of a buck forty, I expected much better conditions. The starter was great and got us off a little early in front of a fivesome. I won’t be back any time soon. Very disappointed.

We were getting soaked playing in 3 holes as entire irrigation was on at greens and around it. This through off my complete game of keeping score and was not pleasant as I called to have the irrigation shut off and took a little while. When I went to the club house to try and find a remedy for this solution It almost seemed like a joke the way they handled things. The first time I asked for a solution they laughed . First time I played here I enjoyed it but now I’m a bit disappointed.

Poor condition a too high a price especially weekends. Only desperate fools pay the weekend rates for a few pretty holes. It's still a shame and will never change

The course is really scenic and fun to play. I teed off at 12:40 and got 14 holes in before it got dark at 5. 2 groups waiting to tee off on every hole. Just a bummer on what’s a really nice course.

Big disappointment for the price. The club house said we missed our tee time which we showed them that wasn’t the case. The starter made us wait while he told stories to others about making a snowman. The starter let the a group go in front of us between our tee time and the tee time ahead of us, so the pace of play was horrible and we had to wait on every hole. The conditions were bad, the grass was patchy, the bunkers were hard. No ball washers were operable or had water in them. The blue tee boxes were closed. There was no ambassador or refreshment cart riding around. The hot dog buns were in 2 pieces at the refreshment stand. No ice in the cooler. I wouldn’t of pay more than $60 to golf here.

Some of the good…the hot dogs were 100% beef, carts were nice, views were nice.

Recently had overseeded. Greens aerated within 10 days ago . Still very bumpy. Fairways average some with weedy spots A few tee boxes closed. A few of the areas around greens bare and inconsistent grass areas. Just seemed course needs more maintenance attention. Bunkers rocks and packed sand. Surrounding views great. Zach did not like the fact that the range was not open and looked like it has been closed for a number of weeks.

It's a beautiful course. There were some yellow areas in the fairways and the tee boxes were not great. Unfortunately, my friend & I got paired with a married couple that barely spoke English. The really slowed us down. It was painful. They kind of ruined our first experience at this course.

Even if they played faster, the overall pace was slow anyway.

The tee boxes and 60 bucks for 2 hot dogs a a beer and power aid holds this place back from a perfect score. The lay out is super!

If a course is going to charge up yo $211/round, I would expect a less than 4.5 hour round and fluffy sand traps. The round went 5+ hours and the traps were hard pan dirt. Also the range was closed so everyone had to go off cold.

Worst experience I've had there in 15 years. Upon arrival the pro shop attendant wasn't his normal friendly self. Had defensive attitude about the practice facility being closed. Tee'd off on time and got to wait 5-15min on every tee box. Oak Quarry loves money so 8 minute tee time increments are a must. Mind you that half of the players playing there have never been and there's stunning views everywhere. Gonna be slow. I almost walked off but already drove 90min and spent $85. Really disappointed as well that the course was in bad shape and they are still charging full rate. Be the first to tee off if you don't want a 4.5-5 hour round. A positive on my day was one guy in the pro shop after the round took my grief seriously and was helpful getting my food order in quickly since I couldn't stay and eat. I'll be back but only because the course is so cool. Just gotta wait until the condition is better.
