Oak Quarry Golf Club

The Marshall kept riding around hurrying us up when it was the group(s) in front of us. Other than that, round was great. Marshalls need to chill TF out though.

Greens are not punched and rolling good. Staff is very good. Our marshal Stan helped us out and got us to pass up some slower players and it made the day way quicker. Big ups Stan.

Played this track many times and loved it as always, but unfortunately it was a 5:30 round. Crazy slow.

Greens were receptive and had a decent amount of unfixed pitch marks, but they rolled pretty true and played fair.

Better maintenance of the sand trap located left of bunker

This course was my beloved course inspite of being a member of a private country club in the area. The management has absolutely ruined this course by neglecting the maintenance. There is no grass in roughs, only dry bare land. Greens are completely studied with ball marks and bumpy. I don't know why they are still charging country club price to play.

The course is really stunning with amazing views around the rock cliffs. Unfortunately, it was very slow the day we played (on a Monday, maybe because it was Columbus Day?). GolfNow got us a good discount. The course could use a marshal to keep the slow groups on time.

Bunkers are well maintained except some improvement on the signature hole. Grass be kept shorter

First off this used to be my favorite course hands down. Since Covid they have really gone down hill. The bunkers are unkept, many have tons of grass growing in them the rest are concrete with a layer of sand. Hole 12 literally has rubber mats going up one side of the bunker with a “ground under repair” sign. It’s been this way for over a year! The greens look like crap. Fixed divots??? Nope but you will find countless number of fresh ones. Good luck trying to hit any putt. It’s heart breaking how bad of shape this course is in now. It used to be a premier course in IE NOT ANYMORE. No BS take your money to Goose creek I’ll even say hidden valley has a similar payout but taken care of much better. I’ll pay for your round if what I’m saying about quarry is a lie. Management should be fired for what they have allowed this course to become. Enough said.

I haven't play Oak Quarry in a couple of years but the course was in great shape. It would be nice if fellow golfer would assist the course and fix their divots. My only complaint is the pace of play as I recall I could finish this course in 4 hours or less but today's round was over 5 hours long. I was also not happy to see a group of 5 players as this was the first time playing here that they allowed a 5-some. This tends to slow the pace of play for others. I think that the starter could have been a little more engaged especially starting out the groups on the 1st hole. Also would have been nice to see a cart girl instead of having to wait till the 11th hole with the new configuration.
