Oak Quarry Golf Club

They’re are really charging $430 for weekends now!?. So stupid! Course is in bad shape on some holes. Pace of play is so bad. No marshal to speed the pace up. They really think its better than Torrey pines or something. This course is worth $150, maybe $175, but nothing over that. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Fair way condition was good. But the green condition was not good. I was disappointed. Hope manage the green condition more.

I play here 3-4 times out of the year. While prices have increased 30% to 40% YoY the quality has degraded. We paid $144 for a Saturday 2:16 tee time and finished in 4 hr 54 min in the dark. No marshalls. Had to call in on 2nd hole after witnessing a 5-some ahead. Greens were recently aerated however not rolled and were absolutely horrible. Lips around the cups were rolling over due to overseed. No beverage cart. Snack bar closed early. Range balls were dry and they gave us 1 small bucket for 4 of us. 10% of the balls looked like they were from 1995. Thanks to YouTube stardom, business is booming. Prices are going up, but course is not investing back to make the experience better for us players. If you want to play for the first time, it's nice for the views. But that's all you're paying for.

The tea time was delayed for more than an hour, so I gave up and came back

Very beautiful and well maintained course. Couldn’t believe they let groups of 12 play and let them play multiple rounds. Tee times should be more then 3 minutes apart from each other. Also how is it that you charge as much as you do but don’t have range balls available? That’s madness!

I’m upset it wasn’t announced with an alert prior to taking friends out there for a birthday round that the course was punched. I’m not sure if that’s on Golf Now or the course but very dissatisfied with that experience. Had I known the course was punched I would have spent money elsewhere.

I went back on golf now the next day to see if there was a mistake maybe for that day. Same story.

When we arrived for some reason our 10.24 tee time was moved to 10.56 but the guys in the pro shop changed it so we got out earlier at 10 am. No one told us maintenance was taking place on the course or that the greens had recently been sanded. It took 2 hours to play nine holes, not an unreasonable pace, but then an hour and a half to play the next three holes, so we walked off after 13 having lost patience.

For only my second time playing @ Oak Quarry, it was awesome!!! Conditions were great! I’ll be back!

I don’t know how this kind of fancy golf course has

so much wait. We played 5hours and 30mins and still couldn’t finish 18holes. Average wait time was 5mins each hole and for par 3 hole- wait time was like 10mins.. terrible waiting experience:(

Unfortunately we were behind a foursome of young guys that did more chit chat than golf

We waited 5-10 minutes and some times more, on EVERY shot They were at least 2 holes behind

A Marshal was needed desperately to get after them

This was not the first time it’s happened!

$150 to play a round that has massively slow play. They jam pack the reservations. They ran out of range balls and no one available to pick them up. You are waiting on the course afree every shot. Poor signage indicators to tell you where to go, holes 12 and 14 were changed but still showing the wrong numbers and no notice prior to heading out or nothing indicated on the course. No cart girl and the bar and restaurant were close prior to round finishing. Very under staffed and an overall poor experience for the amount they charge. I will not be going back and would caution anyone that wants to play there. Save your money, play anywhere else but this course
