Oak Quarry Golf Club

20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 made our round memorable for sure. Would love to go back some day and really experience this great golf course . Some of the most scenic holes I have ever seen. The condition of the course definitely needs improvement. The bunkers need sand and some grass removal.

First time playing here, had heard amazing things but never played. Absolutely incredible views and layout. Will be playing here many times more and it’s worth the almost hour drive we made.

This is a course with a spectacular mountain and rock view. I enjoyed the course layout and design. Fairway condition is great but pace of play may be a little slow in the early morning due to defrost delay.

Great golf course, nice layout, good fairway and green maintenance, I’ll play again.

Played yesterday. Course conditions were fine, not great. Greens were very long with limited movement on putts. Was handed a basket of range balls that were filthy and several were broken. My friend also had several broken range balls in his basket so it wasn’t an outlier.

Biggest complaint is 8 mins between tee times for a course charging $150+ shouldn’t happen. They were 20 mins delayed on our tee time and the round took 5.5 hours. You pay more expecting a course in good shape and good pace, should never expect a 5.5 hour round with those prices.

Would not recommend playing to any friends and I have no desire to return.

They were 20 minutes behind. I have never been to a course supposed to be nice that didn’t provide free range balls. The course was not $173 a round nice. The pace of play was horrible and there were no marshals to assist. The round took over 5-1/2 hours and the last hole we had to play in the dark or we wouldn’t have been able to finish. I would never go back unless they lowered their price to $100 range.

I love this course but twice I’ve had to cancel and there’s no way to get hold of the pro shop. First you get AI, then a booking service who tries to contact the pro shop but they never answer. They give you an email address but no one ever responds.

I will never book here again.

It is a nice course, with some dramatic holes. But fairly hard, and has a fair number of brown spots.

Views are something else here. 3 out of the 4 in our group had never played here and we can’t wait to go back. It’s a must in SoCal. Everyone had an incredible time here.

Took 51/2 hours to play. The group in front of us was a foursome with three sets of clubs. At least two of would Hit two to three balls every tee shot. Called the pro shop and nothing was done

As much as it cost to play there it wasn’t worth it

The course was beautiful and in very good shape. A very nice challenge and a course I look forward to playing again.

The huge issue I have with a course like this is the pace of play. This course is one of the best around and should be managed accordingly. The pace of play was extremely slow. We had to wait for one group (and in some cases two) on every hole. With a 1:20p tee time I knew we wouldn't be able to play all 18 before it got dark, but at 5p we had only made it through 12 holes. Having to stop after each shot to wait for the group ahead takes away the overall experience.

I will definitely go back to play Oak Quarry but I'm hopeful they spread out the tee times (even if the result is a more expensive round).

Very nice and unique golf course to play, could be challenging but fun.

A few misleading pathways towards hole 9 and 12 I believe but was able to find them. I still give it a nice rating for this course.

Both my son and i played Oak Quarry. its his favorite course in So Cal. really enjoyed the views and was impressed by the condition of the course. some very difficult greens and hard par 3s. we played from the blue tees.
