Nice Course, But Hard

It is a nice course, with some dramatic holes. But fairly hard, and has a fair number of brown spots.

Absolutely worth it

Views are something else here. 3 out of the 4 in our group had never played here and we can’t wait to go back. It’s a must in SoCal. Everyone had an incredible time here.

Pace of play

Took 51/2 hours to play. The group in front of us was a foursome with three sets of clubs. At least two of would Hit two to three balls every tee shot. Called the pro shop and nothing was done

As much as it cost to play there it wasn’t worth it

Great Course-Bad Pace

The course was beautiful and in very good shape. A very nice challenge and a course I look forward to playing again.

The huge issue I have with a course like this is the pace of play. This course is one of the best around and should be managed accordingly. The pace of play was extremely slow. We had to wait for one group (and in some cases two) on every hole. With a 1:20p tee time I knew we wouldn't be able to play all 18 before it got dark, but at 5p we had only made it through 12 holes. Having to stop after each shot to wait for the group ahead takes away the overall experience.

I will definitely go back to play Oak Quarry but I'm hopeful they spread out the tee times (even if the result is a more expensive round).

Nice Hidden Gem 💎 ⛳️

Very nice and unique golf course to play, could be challenging but fun.

A few misleading pathways towards hole 9 and 12 I believe but was able to find them. I still give it a nice rating for this course.

Beautiful Course!

Beautiful course with great views and well taken care of greens/fairways. This is my second time playing here and haven’t had a bad experience yet. The pace of play was perfect. Not sure how it is on the weekends. I would definitely play here again.

Awesome Course

This course is beautiful, with stunning views, and is incredibly enjoyable! It posed some challenges for my friend and me, resulting in many lost balls, but mainly because we are high handicappers. It may be somewhat easier for more skilled golfers. Either way, I’d definitely come back!

Beautiful challenging course

What an awesome but challenging course! It weaves through the foothills of Riverside which provides a unique challenge that makes you feel like you might be in Utah. I shot a terrible round but I concede that to a fantastic course! 10/10 would play again!

Amazing Course - Great Price

I'd played here a few years ago and really enjoyed it then. I wasn't disappointed yesterday as the conditions were pretty good. The greens were true and not too fast, so you could be aggressive with your putts. The fairways were a mix between dormant bermuda and plusher lies around the greens which made it easy to chip from as they were a little too thick to putt from just off the green. The greenside bunkers were much better as they had more sand in them and were pretty consistent. The fairway bunkers were the only place where I could gripe as they were rock hard with some having weeds. This did make it easier as long as you hit the ball first though. The staff was very friendly and the starter got me out about 45 minutes early. Pace was amazing at 3:15. Carts were newer with plush cushioned seats with all of the amenities. The main thing they need to work on is updating the signs of where the next holes are. They changed the routing a ways back and so some of the signs say 7th hole when it's the 9th. Getting from 8 to 9 is tricky and from 13 to 14. So pay attention to where you're going. All in all - it's a great layout that is challenging especially if the wind is up. If you can catch a hot deal during the week, it's a very good deal.

The views are worth the price of admission. Not a particularly difficult track, but the views are incredible.

Great course

Great course, great layout, great views. Long round due to holiday week. Greens a little slower than normal. Bunkers ok. Rough cut nicely. Fairways thin but playable.

Great Course and Scenery but....

I don't like leaving negative reviews but let's start with the price. $145 on a Monday. In the Inland Empire. Too much, but it would be OK if it was pristine and top notch. But it wasn't. There was weird service inside the pro-shop/restaurant. I wanted to order a breakfast burrito or some food before the round but there wasn't anyone manning (or wommaning) the snack area. then after the 4th hole, I called the course hoping to order a breakfast burrito or 2 to pick up between 5th anf 6th hole but after no kidding 5 calls to the course they did not even pick up the phone once. So, no food. There was food after the 12th hole but it was a mediocre dry sandwich. The tee times were every 8 minutes which is relatively rare these days (often 10 minutes) and we had the 'privelege' of playing a 5 hour 10 minute round of golf behind a clueless couple of groups - and there were zero marshals out on the course at all.. As for the course, the fairways and tees were Good enough, but (again for $145), the greens were bumpy (needed rolling) and the holes hadn't been changed in at least a day or two (there was grass growing inside the cups). In summary, if a course is going to raise prices to a very high level, it better be with good service, and when we played this week, it wasn't. I like Oak Quarry but the value and service was very bad for that price.
