Best value of year, had to myself for $14.99 Monday 10/9/23
My wife and I played here last summer and enjoyed it tremendously. I enjoyed it even more today on a cool 45 degree rain lk effect showers October day. Colors close to peak. Course in fantastic shape, best aerated green I ever played. Only one there. Only $14.99 fantastic value. Nice older gal in clubhouse. So much nicer than Twin Birch and Timberwolf.
Just the way I like it. Lots of elevation and scenery.

Front 9 Closed
Had to play the back 9 twice, so I was slightly disappointed. Will go back some day to play the front. Course was in great shape and greens were playable even though they were aerated. Great value

This course is a great deal and a blast to play
Interesting hole layouts, generous, fairways, and greens
The change in ownership has been very good for the course

They have been attempting to remodel the building but they have a ways to go
great condition
Course was in perfect condition. Front nine has lots of water/swamp hazards. Back nine much easier and more typical Michigan course. Greens were perfect.

The course is very well maintained and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Great course, play during fall colors!
With the recent rains, this course is in great shape. Not much roll out from tee shots. Greens near perfect. Wide fairways.
Would have been a perfect day but it didn’t start out great. Used golfnow to book. I went inside to check in. The first gal could not find my reservation. She summoned the next gal who could not find it either. They called for the boss who scrolled through the computer asking my name several times. She said I have a Chin Lee ? Not me. She couldn’t find it but said she could get me on. I said I hope so as I have already paid. I showed her my screenshot reservation as I always take now when booking golfnow. She continued to look and said , “oh they were on the wrong date!” I told her, way to stress a guy out before his round. No apology or anything. She just said”it happens!” Wouldn’t the date be the first thing you check when you can’t find a reservation? Amateur.
I got over it and had a nice round.
Getting Better
They don’t have the money a lot of courses have.
Clubhouse is a mess with sewer septic issues
All in all a good trek - good be a hidden gem
