Eldorado, located just south of Cadillac, has built a reputation as one of the best golf values in the Great Lakes area. Conveniently situated at the US-131 and M-115 interchange, the course has a scenic northern Michigan setting that is easily accessible. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills laced with flowering wetland areas. The golf course features elevated tees and generous green complexes with subtle but tricky undulations. Most of the greens are sloped back to front. The opening nine is more forgiving the back. There aren't as many forced carries and you won't be as severely penalized for missing the fairway. Eldorado's final hole is one of the toughest. This par 2 requires a long and accurate tee shot and the approach across a sizeable water hazard leaves little room for error.

Nice layout
The course has a nice variety of holes and numerous tee boxes to find a fit for your game. The bridges over the wetlands are rotting and will create a safety/playability issue in the future if not addressed...
Good course played very good for very early season
Early season here was good and dry. The greens were a little matted with small aeration holes, but played very good for very early season
Use to be a regular
Im the scheduler for a group of senior that use to play there several times a season. We're from the Grand Rapids area. I was also the president of furniture city golf club for 8 years we had over 80 members and we'd hold our 2 day club championship at your course, each fall for 7 years. My group is older now and most are on fixed incomes. We still enjoy playing your course, but short of a special deal like recently including Eldorado in our Manistee National golf package you've pretty much priced my group out of consideration for your course.
Tough course but great layout!
As usual, this course is veery challenging so if you are not hitting your best, then it will be very hard to score well. If you play from the fairway, it is still very challenging but you can score some birdies and pars!
We played from the Chrome tees which put the course about 6100 yards according to the card but quite a few holes measured farther than card states.

First time playing and course very well maintained and fun to play. Great value for the money.
Huge Greens
Excellent golf course. Greens were huge. Condition of the the course was excellent. We were behind an outing so pace of play was quite slow. Would definitely play again

my wife and i are avaid golfer and had a great time , we were also hook up with another couple and had a lot of fun with them thanks we will be back
Too many marches
Beautiful course, not lady friendly. Will play again with strategic play.
The large greens were very challenging. There were some blind shots to make. Maybe add some markers to tell how far you have to carry some of the water.

Course is always too wet for my liking. I've played here several times since it's opening and the fairways are always mushy.

Fantastic course, value, and course conditions
First time playing this beautiful course. Great layout and conditions. Staff was super friendly. I would say this is a must play if you are near Cadillac Michigan. We will be back!!!
Great greens and staff
From the moment I stepped out of the car it was a great experience. The staff greeted me and helped me get on my way quickly with some tips on the course, the greens, and a cold beer. The greens were very nice. They held a line, rolled fast and were smooth but also recertification to shots coming in. Every hole is different and offered forced carries and elevation changes.
Phenomenal Course
The staff was amazing, We ate at the grill before our tee time, they were able to hold our take home food til after we finished our round. The course was in immaculate shape and has breath taking views. A few waves of thunderstorms rolled through, but we were able to chill at the club house until the passed. I would love to come back again :)
