About
Eldorado, located just south of Cadillac, has built a reputation as one of the best golf values in the Great Lakes area. Conveniently situated at the US-131 and M-115 interchange, the course has a scenic northern Michigan setting that is easily accessible. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills laced with flowering wetland areas. The golf course features elevated tees and generous green complexes with subtle but tricky undulations. Most of the greens are sloped back to front. The opening nine is more forgiving the back. There aren't as many forced carries and you won't be as severely penalized for missing the fairway. Eldorado's final hole is one of the toughest. This par 2 requires a long and accurate tee shot and the approach across a sizeable water hazard leaves little room for error.

Golfer Reviews
For the $, it’s the best!
Tons of tee boxes, wide open. Everything’s green. Awesome course.
Great, but no water or ice?
Good afternoon pricing.
This course is in Arizona! Why would the new management remove all of the drinking water coolers, cart coolers and not have ice available. After spending all that money on the pro shop, you can't provide potable ice?!? This is Arizona!
I love that they moved the 10th hole back to where it used to be. Also I appreciate the clean up of the 9th hole.
Price
I live in sand lake and I have a friend that lives in Gaylord. We played your course maybe 10 times last summer 2020. Both of us are retired and find the $65.00 dollar fee a little high. So while we feel we may not be able to play there as much as we like we will still try to get there when we can. Both of us like the course very much.
This a great course but you better bring your A game because mistakes will cost you. Its a beast but still fun.
Five stars facility
Greeted at parking by Aiden with cart, courteous and knowledgeable genuinely interested in our game with recommendations on course play
Pins changed daily
5 tee boxes ,wide fairways and beautiful bent grass
Pro staff and all staff helpful and courteous
Excellent turn brawts and wonderful excellent meal after play at course view restaurant
Remarkable experience!!!
Great Condition
Greens were in outstanding condition as well as the fairways. Love the course as it’s shorter than some I play and that works best for me as I don’t hit the ball far.
Beautiful Course
This is a course that challenges your distance and Precission. A few holes of water, several holes of marsh and a lot of woods to keep you honest. No dry spots on this course, they spend a lot of time water to keep it soft. Tees are fantastic, fairways play beautifully and the greens are challenging for sure! We will be back!!!
Course is in great shape
Ground crew was working hard this morning. Course was in great shape reen moderately fast and pretty smooth roll out. Only a few minor mud spots/holes in fairway. Great day for golf. I'd recommend this course especially if you can get a deal.
