About

Eldorado, located just south of Cadillac, has built a reputation as one of the best golf values in the Great Lakes area. Conveniently situated at the US-131 and M-115 interchange, the course has a scenic northern Michigan setting that is easily accessible. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills laced with flowering wetland areas. The golf course features elevated tees and generous green complexes with subtle but tricky undulations. Most of the greens are sloped back to front. The opening nine is more forgiving the back. There aren't as many forced carries and you won't be as severely penalized for missing the fairway. Eldorado's final hole is one of the toughest. This par 2 requires a long and accurate tee shot and the approach across a sizeable water hazard leaves little room for error.

Hidden gem

We played this course on our way to Traverse City and are so glad we did. The course condition was excellent. We were going off at 1000 and arrived early to warm up. We teed of early as there was no one in front of us and finished the round in just over 3 hours. Great tee box and yardage choices but they definitely didn't make any if the Par 3's easy as you had to carry some kind of hazard on all if them. Still had a great time and would definitely come back.

Beautiful golf!

My wife and I have played here a few times over the years. Each time the course is in great shape. We live a few hours away, but try to make the trip every year or two. Definitely one of our favorites.

24 golfers and full service dinner after golf In my group stay and play.

Quick checkin. At pro shop Yes. Quick and flawless

We pre selected our dinner at checkin am so the chefs and servers could serve us all of us at 530 pm during their restaurant rush. Just remarkable ! Staff. On course service and brawts at the turn. Don Smith leads the golf service team and restaurant view with chef Jeff is remarkable.

The course is a masterpiece. It’s a pleasure to leave this review

Great course next to expressway

Love playing Eldorado. Have played 4 times this year and love the greens and fairways. Rough is lush but not punishing and with 5 sets of tees it can be played by anyone. Will definitely play again this year and thinking hard about becoming a member next year.

I had the best of intentions in parking lot.... then i teed off.... i had moments of Tiger.... but also moments of Dorf.....
