About
Eldorado, located just south of Cadillac, has built a reputation as one of the best golf values in the Great Lakes area. Conveniently situated at the US-131 and M-115 interchange, the course has a scenic northern Michigan setting that is easily accessible. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills laced with flowering wetland areas. The golf course features elevated tees and generous green complexes with subtle but tricky undulations. Most of the greens are sloped back to front. The opening nine is more forgiving the back. There aren't as many forced carries and you won't be as severely penalized for missing the fairway. Eldorado's final hole is one of the toughest. This par 2 requires a long and accurate tee shot and the approach across a sizeable water hazard leaves little room for error.

Golfer Reviews
Course is in great shape
Ground crew was working hard this morning. Course was in great shape reen moderately fast and pretty smooth roll out. Only a few minor mud spots/holes in fairway. Great day for golf. I'd recommend this course especially if you can get a deal.
Fine Day on the Golf Course
Everything from cart meeting us in the parking lot to dropping us back after our round showed the care this course takes in their customers. Course condition was very good. We had a great day.
Eldorado
Best course in Cadillac area. Front nine noticably easier then back. Yardage on sign and scorecard DO NOT ALWAYS AGREE WITH YARD MARKERS????? Very inconsistent.
Nicest Course in area
Nicest Course in the Cadillac area , it's always a pleasure to play first eagle of the year on 14 second shot was 122 out hit an easy 7, one bounce and in the cup, I'm saving my nickles and dimes to play again
Fun & Challenging
Have played this course 7 or 8 times and always enjoyed
it. Play it with a 12 person golf group - it is both fun and challenging. #18 is a very challenging finishing hole - need a great drive and great 2nd shot to hit the green.
Very friendly staff, too. Good value.
Course is kept up great!
Unfortunately pace of play was our demise. We had a frost delay and we’re from out of town so we ended up paying for 18 and only playing 9 due to the late start and slow play. If that was not a factor, it was great, friendly staff, lots of elevation which kept things interesting, and a new challenge on every hole. Great course and we will definitely have to play again early in the year before football season starts! :)
Great Course
Love this course; very tough to do anything better than 2-putts! Course was in wonderful shape. Only negative today was "cart path only!" That, coupled with a slow foursome in front made for a long round. Will return.
The best golf in Cadillac
Course was in great shape. Staff is always very friendly. Great practice facility. By far the best course in Cadillac.
Great golf experience
Course is always in fantastic shape, staff is extremely friendly. Gives you the feel of playing a $200 course without having to empty your wallet
Beautiful course but the layout is brutal
This course is beautiful but very demanding. Some holes are downright brutal. We are seniors and played from the Chrome tees. Those tees are 5888 yards, which is reasonable. A lot of the holes are over water and marsh, so you have a lot of Decisions to make. It is tough but beautiful. The one hole I thought was a little much was the par three that measured 211 yards to the pin, almost every yard of it of it over a marsh. Really? A par 3 a senior has to use a driver on? The next time I will play the next set of tees up. So, I think it is a beautiful course and quite challenging. I need to expect to enjoy the beauty and the challenge and not plan to score very well. I guess I can do that.
Consistent
In terms of staff, friendliness, pleasant business demeanor, consistent. Course condition and lay out near perfection, consistent. Have played the course for several years, and relocated downstate however have brought up friends and family, from scratch golfers to bogey golfers and just about everything in between always had fun and been treated the way a customer would appreciate being treated. Will always make the trip up north at least twice a year and unfortunately with the unique health circumstances probably that's all we'll be able to do. However it's always on the must playlist, and if you can only make it up for one annual trip do it in the early fall, and for a challenge play the Power,
Difficult but awesome
Staff is extremely friendly. Course was difficult and had to do a lot of walking due to cart path only. Understandably so. Course had a lot of rain.
Would play again.
