This is a very good place to play. The course was in good condition and the pace of play was fine. Although the course is not very long (over 6300 yards from the back tees). it is a good test. The staff is very friendly.
Reasonable price for a good course
The course is in decent condition and his reasonably priced if you play during the week. In addition, they try to ensure you complete the round within about four hours or so
Good value
$40 during the week is a good deal for the course. The course is set up to play in about 4 hours, which is reasonable.
Great course
I think its one of the nicest public courses in New Jersey
Has gotten a little pricy
I love the 17th par 3
Would love to see more deal times on Golf now and Teeoff.com
Unfortunately the green were in terrible condition. Only thing that made the day bad. Otherwise pace was great played in 3:55. The twosome we were matched up with was great. Just bad greens and that stinks

Not How It Used To Be
I'm not sure why, but this course used to be so much better. Even though the greens still roll well, there are divot marks all over them. At least one of the bunkers needs sand added to it. There was some kind of netting that grabbed my club when trying to hit out of it because of the lack of sand They also apparently don't do the 12 minute intervals between tee times anymore, because they let a group playing from the senior tees tee off as we were still putting on the first green. For me, this course is not worth the price they're charging right now. I honestly was disappointed.

staff was above average, played in 3 hours 30 minutes ,course was in great condition. wished nore people would fix their ball marks
AWFUL GREEN CONDITIONS
The greens were really sad, bare spots, and pitch marks all overt the place, not to mention the brown circular patterns from the previous pin locations. I heard this course used to be amazing and I was really excited to play this course. However, this will be my one and only time playing Rutgers.

Nice fairways
Course was in good condition. Fairways were really nice, but the greens were pretty hard. It was 100 degrees and the balls were still taking BIG hops off the greens.
