Unique course, but pace of play & enforcement slow

Great public course, but no driving range. Greens in good shape but a bit slow. Great & friendly staff though. Super slow pace on back nine but would love to play again when not so slow. Wish ranger or other staff had prevented the 6-some slowing everyone down.

Been golfing here for years now and it’s always a favorite of mine, scenic views, trees all around, beautiful green fairways, just the right amount of speed on the greens, and a unique layout. I’d say good value for the money overall and would recommend it to all!

Nice course, but confusing for the first timer

The course was fine, but the last two holes were strange. 17 was a Par 6, kinda fun because it was an oddity. 18 was very confusing because you had to shoot through a road (w/traffic) it was very distracting to have to watch for cars as you were lining up your shot. At one point a car just stop right between me and the flag. It really made me question if I was even pointed at the right target.

Got stuck behind multiple groups that would not allow me to play through. Multiple tee boxes in range of approach shots from other holes. The snack shack was being repaired so no food was available. Greens were in pretty good shape overall. No sand on carts to repair divots. Patrons don't seem to bother raking the traps after playing out of them. Fairways were ok overall.

Fun course, beautiful mountain setting

Nearly perfect day in spite of so many golfers out on this day. The only picky comment was that the fairways are fairly firm, making it a little tricky to land that perfect ball contact. Otherwise, excellent conditions and a beautiful day that obviously brought everyone else to play as well.
