Great course when affordable
Olde Sycamore is a great course. I played on Monday after 2:00, so the rate was affordable. The conditions are really good right now. Since the pandemic they have steadily increased the price, and it is now $65 during the week and $85 on the weekends. Crazy! It's a good course but does not warrant prices THAT high!

Great Outing
No, my golf wasn't too great -- but the outing was. The course was in better condition than the times I had played in previous years. The staff was actually helpful, too. We were paired up with another twosome (two singles) and when we complained a little, the starter let us go ahead and go as a twosome (which we appreciated immensely). Also, there were a couple of foursomes slowing us down and the on-the-course ranger nudged them to let us play through -- so we were able to finish in just over 3 hours. Fantastic - as our outing last week at another course took us a full 5 hours plus. All in all a good day!

Great course bad greens
Everything about this course is good, well kept, and challenging. The greens can definitely use some love. Lots of holes, divots etc. other than the greens would definitely recommend it.

Old Sycamore
This course is in great shape. Fairways and greens were both rolling nicely. It’s not a long course nor is it a challenging layout but if you just want an enjoyable round of golf it great!!

Great Track
Great layout you have to think off the tee can't allways hit your driver greens are in great condition ball sits down fast ,you can attack the flags . Tricky pin locations on some holes. A great test of golf a must play

Too slow!
My 3-some was slow because he had a beginner golfer with us…but starting on the 4th hole we were waiting on practically every shot. On many occasions there 3 groups playing the same hole at once. There was a foursome 3 or 4 groups ahead of us that was holding up the whole course. The Marshall came around twice on the back nine and spoke to them…but nothing changed. We were the last group in front of a captain’s choice tournament, and they ended up having to wait on us almost every shot, but we couldn’t go anywhere. I felt so bad! It got so bad we just quit after the 14th hole and didn’t play the last 4 holes. Please try to enforce pace of play a little better!

Great course, over watered greens with 2 many divots
A great course design and layout. If you play from the whites usually, go to the blues. Greens were very green and good speed but way over watered and full of divots. If you land the green in two, expect a 2 inch crater…like putting on a slice of Swiss cheese….fix your divots guys! Even in spite of the greens, I give this a thumbs up to play.

Average Course
Booked a tee time through Golf Now app. Hit driver 3 times on front nine. Fairways and rough were in good shape. Greens were average. A number of holes force you to layup off the tee versus hitting driver. Water/Hazards ahead aren’t marked on the scorecard or tee box. Water cooler on the back nine was empty on a 92 degree day. They don’t allow any outside drinks/snacks and you have to go get the cart cooler from the snack bar, which makes sure you are spending money in their shop to stay hydrated. We paid $55 a piece for our round today and won’t be coming back.

Greens need some love. Extremely slow. For the price point of this course I would have expected the greens to be hard and fast. The rest of the course seems to be in great shape.
