Greens Are In Terrible Shape
They must have recently aerated the greens, then applied LOTS of sand. The greens were all marked up, ball marks everywhere, spike marks everywhere. You had to put through a desert of sand & marks. I’ve played this course multiple times, this was as bad as I’ve seen it. Pace of play was great for a twosome going off in the late afternoon on a Wednesday (~3 hours). Please fix the greens.

Greens Need Work
Friends played a few weeks prior and greens were in great shape. Recently there were black spots everywhere. Otherwise nice course and great shape.

$42 for a Monday round is out of whack
Greens are beat up fro those who don’t repair ball marks
Bare spots on greens

This is an under $30 course
Starter was very friendly
Great layout, bad value for the price.
The course is a great layout. Pace of play for morning Sunday time was just over 6 hours. Staff is very friendly but did nothing to improve the pace. Greens were in very poor condition however the fairways and tee boxes were in great shape.

Greens in terrible shape
I have played this course maybe 15-20 times over the years. The fairways and tee boxes are always in excellent shape and the layout is very challenging. The greens however are some of the worst in Charlotte. Riddled with un repaired divots and disease, putting is almost not worth the effort. You can get much better greens at other courses if you are willing to drive a little further out from Charlotte.

Thursday round
The poorest greens in Charlotte area. Way over watered. Superintendent doesn't seem to know what he's doing. If I was a member I'd be curious.

Decent Course.
This is a scenic course, nevertheless, the look is slightly deceiving. Putting greens were a bit a rough. Be prepared to be paired with another random group despite playing at 8:00 AM on Wednesday morning. There is nothing more infuriating than going out to play golf with a business client and getting paired with two people you have never met before. Good people but had no business being on the course with us. Would’ve taken 5 hours to play 18 if they hadn’t left after the first 9.

Bad Weather
I wasn't able to finish due to a monsoon, but I wanted to acknowledge the pro shop and starter for how well I was treated. Very friendly and accommodating every time I've played! Really wanted to finish the round but had a great time for the few holes I was able to get in.

Potentially good
I played the course on a Saturday and it was packed! Several greens were infested with red ants, tee boxes were average. I blame myself but forgot my new range finder on the cart and called back in several days later and of course it was never turned in (hope who ever took it enjoys it).
I see feedback is only given to people who give at least 3 stars.
Slow greens
Tees and fairways are good the greens are a disgrace . Inconsistent long slow some have no grass. Staff is almost non existent

Course taking advantage of COVID-19
Not only are they charging an inflated price, but the require you to pay extra to have a cart to social distance. That makes no sense and they did not post it on the website when booking your tee time.. The tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape but the greens were in poor shape. I would play there again, but the greens fee should include a cart!

Fun as usual
Had a good round of golf & played with 3 fine gentleman. Try to play here every month or so. I like to jump around to other courses.

Disappointing
Booked a tee time on Golfnow and went to the course. It had been raining all morning and I went into the pro shop to see if I could get a rain check and play another day. Staff said they didn't get any money for the round and I would need to call GolfNow . Tried to play but it rained so hard I had to uit after 6 holes.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you contact GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. Good course overall
Enjoyed this course, good greens and fairways. Some tough holes with some elevation changes. Don't get too far off the fairway, or you may be a backyard.
