About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Nice Course, Inconsiderate Grounds Staff
Working on course as we played. Moving around while I was on the tee box. They should offer a discount when they are performing grounds maintenance.
I’ve played Rocky River for many years. Maybe I’m being too harsh and haven’t noticed in the past but the edges of the course are really rough. In spots it’s a real adventure to take carts off the path. So much dirt. There’s significant areas off path on holes 1, 9, 12, 16 that need sod. I know they get a ton of play, but there needs to be more restrictions for where carts can pull off the paths.
I’ve told many folks to play here because I really enjoy the course.
First time I felt like the course is going downhill.

Good course, very friendly staff. The food offered is okay, and not a bargain.
Great Course
Course is in great condition for this time of year. Staff was very helpful as this was my first time there. Very respectful and helpful during my check in. Greens roll good will very little damages. Carts are set with monitors with hole trackers to show your yardage of each hole. Will definitely be going back really soon
Fun Time
Had a good time but course was cart path only which made it a be more of a headache. Overall course was in good shape, greens were good and pretty true.

School golf
They had a high school golf team walking at 3:30 that nobody mentioned. So while I wasn’t going to get 18 in I would have went to another more open course had I known.
Beautifully laid out course
I played there for the first time, I played from the White tees. layout was beautiful, greens were rolling well, staff friendliness was excellent, pace of play was great, I will definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to play short beautifully laid out course
Course in great shape
After raining most of the night the course had drained very well. Greens were in excellent condition.
