The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

I thoroughly enjoyed my round here yesterday. Played with three younger players from Boston. Met by a friendly young man at checkin. Starter was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Easy to find tee boxes. Course very challenging, especially #18. Highly recent Currituck Golf course.

Great Staff

Very impressed with the staff. Greens were very fast and green, even with recent aeration. Bunkers were soft and perfect. All four of us enjoyed the layout.

Greens were punched a week prior but could barely tell.

Beautiful as usual

Play this course every year when we come to the OBX. Always in great shape even when it was on Black Friday and well into “off season”. Greens were like glass (fast as heck) and soft. I was hitting several greens and fixing some ball marks. They were holding well. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, asking me where I was from and how my Thanksgiving was. Driving range always well kept, and the course, as a whole, was in fantastic shape. Using a hot deal is always nice as the price for peak season can push $200. Favorite course down here in the OBX.

Windy yet fun!

Don't expect a calm day when you play Currituck. The course is very challenging when the wind blows toward the sound or from the north. Great concept with the Hybrid tees of mixing 18 holes with blue and white tees.
