Cedarbrook Country Club

Members were playing 30 minutes per hole. No one said anything to them, and 2 groups (1 in front of us and 1 behind us) had to go around them. We started on the back and had to endure the last 3 holes at excruciating pace. Fairways were hit or miss. Tee boxes were sub par, and the greens were soft and bumpy. Layout is alright, lots of blind shots. I wouldn’t play here again, as you are not even close to the priority. Disappointing overall

I will drive 45 minutes and past 5 other courses to go here. Amazing range, chipping, putting area. GPS carts, flawless tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens. They work hard to keep this course looking right!

Always nice course but greens a bit slow on few holes

A very nice layout and a good challenge for all levels of players. The course was in very nice condition for this time of year, having completed their spring green maintenance about a month ago, according to the people there. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I wish it were closer to home so I and my group could play more often.

Two of my lifelong friends head down from Michigan & West Virginia to Augusta every year. Since moving my family to Apex, this is now the 3rd annual edition of our self-titled pre-Masters Open, and the dart landed on Cedarbrook, our first time playing here. Friendly, welcoming staff. Wish I remembered his name (I’ll be sure to get it next time), but the gentleman manning the office gave some good advice for playing the course. This track is an excellent test of your game. Elevation changes, SLOPING greens, tight drives, etc...The only reason my rating stands at 4 stars for now, it’s early season. Punched greens are almost recovered (made for some slow, wiggly putts), Weather this year has soaked most courses and Cedarbrook is no exception but put the ball in the right spot and it’ll run out. Only a 2 hour drive from home, I’ll be back when the course is in peak condition because I imagine I’ll be able to give that 5th star. .

Enjoyed the course design and the new carts with GPS

Did not enjoy the aerated and sanded greens. When booked thru golfnow there was no notification about this. If we had known we may have chosen elsewhere

For early season the condition of the course was very good.

Course was still slightly wet from at the rain. However, the greens were in good condition. Loved the GPS mounted carts.

Cedarbrook is one of the best courses we play! Travel about 50 min to get there and worth it! Highly recommend

Somewhat challenging 18 holes with lots of elevation changes, and water hazards. Course is in excellent condition but a with a few greens that won't hold if you find yourself above the hole.

Decent pro shop and kitchen with some excellent menu choices. Staff are very friendly and super helpful. Certainly worth going out of your way for.

Had played the course many times. This visit, disappointed. Tee boxes and rough not maintained. Greens were very slow. Past visits, greens were always fast and challenging.

I’ve been playing here periodically for 20+ years. It’s one of my favorites!

Course is in good condition. Greens are nice, and members clearly fix their ball marks, which is nice. Tee boxes are somewhat sparse, but nothing too bad. Course layout is good with a lot of doglegs. A few tees require less than driver. Many blind tee shots, so first-timers may find this challenging. Front nine greens are extremely sloped in places. Knowing where to place your approach is a must. A good shot can end up off the green if you hit the wrong slope. Back nine has more manageable undulations. Staff was very friendly, and restaurant was much better than average golf courses.

Cedarbrook was in perfect condiiton and the weather was perfect, with the sky blue and the temp in the low 80"s. Beautiful layout! It was a great experience!

The course layout is really good. Some of the greens are borderline crazy. There are slopes and undulations that can seem unfair. You DO NOT want to hit your approacm the wrong part of the green. Conditions are good and the staff is always friendly. Bring your A game.
