Baywood golf course
Nice course,
Only wish the greens were in better condition. People leave divots and don’t fix them.
Very slow play!!
They have golf rules posted on their door that says no five somes “Especially “ on a Saturday!! So we get behind 2 groups of 2 with a group of 5 that has everything backed up and not letting anyone through even though it looked like they had hardly ever played before. There was 2 holes open in front of them and it will mess up your game rhythm waiting several minutes per shot! Very frustrating!
Get what you pay for
Driving range is patchy and sandy - good practice for the rest of the course. Multiple tee boxes are dirt/sand. Beat up mats on par 3s because the tee boxes are so bare. Chipping lies around the green are so treacherous, I played my ball up on whatever little patch of decent grass nearby. I will pay $30 extra somewhere else to not deal with the frustrating conditions of this course.
Great Beginner Course
I’ve only been playing g for a year and this is my “home course” . I’ve played other courses in and out of the area and Baywood gives me the confidence I need to excel because the challenges it presents with me being a newbie.
I’m only learning more and more about “greens” and these greens are fast, fairways decent, some of the boxes could be improved but overall it’s a good place to play.
Dry but fun
course was dry, but fun to play. Club House workers very helpful
It's nice
It's really a nice course. The greens could use some love and the score cards could stop looking like a pizza menu. But it's a $15-$20 course and it's good.
Good Value
This course is in a community. The layout was fair and some holes were challenging. The course was in average condition for a southern course. Tees needed to be rolled and seeded. Fairways were a bit dry and greens were hard and bump. But this was a great course for the value. Especially if you are wanting to work on your game. Staff was very friendly and amenities had a variety of drinks and food. The pace of play during this particular day was perfect.
Great day
Really enjoyed o fast paced round while traveling North from Fl. Beautiful layout. Greens a little slow. Great scenery and mimes on property
Challenge but fair for first time playing here would come back for sure!!
