Early spring
Greens are still dormant, extremely dry and fast. Poe Annua creates some bumpy putting. Fairways still dormant, literally nothing to hit off of. Wait to play late spring or summer; still weeks away from good conditions.
Nope course improves
Green in bad shape think it’s due to the cold weather/ hot weather mix we keep getting played in the fall and it was in great shape.
save your money stay away, course sucks
giving this a 1 star is giving it to much, the tee boxes look like dogs are digging them up, no grass on fairways, the greens are full of Po and goose crap and whatever else is out there, and guess what no grass either. the staff does not seem to care when I brought it to there attention. this course is usually ok, but save your money call before u go
They were redoing the greens but didn’t tell us that when we booked so very disappointing round as they only had 9 holes that we could play so very very crowded! Will go back maybe in a few months after they get it fixed.
Nice layout, horrible condition
Tee boxes were as bad as the greens. No grass for the most partm I know it's early in the season and Bermuda grass looks bad this time of year but I doubt it will come in very good shape all here. But great layout and nice people running it.
December
For it being the month of December the weather was great and the course is in good shape with the greens running fast.
Watch out for the water!
Lightning fast greens but that’s what you get this time of the year. One guy in our foursome got his first eagle on the last hole at 90 yards. It was his birthday so that made our day!! We have played here many times and always enjoyed it.
Police your members
This course is pretty standard. The condition is getting better over the past year or so from where it was. Fairways are a little hard to see from the boxes.
I was lucky enough to be teeing off at the first hole and a few carts full of members rolled up and surrounded my cart. No care or concern that I was addressing the ball preparing to start my swing. I had to back off as they thought it was a good idea to have an incredibly loud conversation the entire time I was on the box. Even though I was a lone golfer with a cart, I asked them if they wanted to go out before me to which they replied no. They seem to get the point that I was waiting on them to shut their mouths before I completed my tee shot. I imagine they would have been the type to hit into me as well because as I was addressing my ball in the fairway, the first ball of their group I heard land about 30 yards behind me. I guess I should be thankful I'm longer from the blues than they were from the whites. Didn't see them after the first hole... Thankfully.
Course was in pretty good condition, tee boxes need some work. Overall it was a good experience. One problem I noticed is that the Canadian geese are quite abundant, so that being said!!! Have played this course several times.
Old faithful
Baywood is always a fun track. The family that runs it are always friendly. It's not expensive and the course is always in good shape.
typical neighborhood course. Very tight and OB along houses. Greens were not in very good shape. Receptive but grainy and bumpy.
