East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

Good intermediate course
Good for beginner/ intermediate players. Greens in good condition, approaches need a lot of work! Lots of bare ground and mud from over watering. Good for a practice round.
Love this course. Play once a week during the winter months. staff is wonderful, bar is always open as well. good times. Blaze
Pace
Pacer play was way too slow yesterday. We were on the course for 6 hours. It was either no monitoring or pushing too many groups into the time slots.
My son did the review - I'm recovering from surgery :(
A Must Play Destination
Awesome course!! Plenty of practice areas to sharpen your game. Then the 2 courses courses with no back ups…. Eagle Valley is my future stop over from the Bay Area.
Bogey Buster
This is a great course to work out the kinks in the golf swing. Grip and rip it kind of track.
Great Course Horrible Marshall
I love playing at this course. My family and friends make it regular routine to play here. The course is very forgiving and has beautiful scenery. Unfortunately there is a marshall here that talks down to people making the experience feel unwelcome. It is a shame that they allow their marshalls to act this way because it can make a beautiful day of golf turn into a stressful and uneasy experience that can ruin your entire day. I have had multiple bad experiences with the exact same marshall with a repetitive behavior to talk down to people as if they are stupid. If you want to play this course, you’ll have an amazing time as long as youre not being targeted by this individual. otherwise get ready to feel like you’re constantly and burden or doing something wrong. If you’re a beginning player and question certain rules, this course is probably not for you unless you want have a rude unwanted lesson from your local marshall.
Good stuff
The grass is in great shape for this time of year. Very playable.
Good Deal but not great
For several recent rounds that I have played here, several fairways have continually been in bad shape or damaged from continually repair.
Can't be all from weather, since we have not had any "bad" weather in the recent few months.
Course is beautiful but seemed to be unfriendly towards the GolfNow users. Was basically thrown a key, no direction, just was told to head to the tee box. There’s 2 courses, no direction was given. When I did find my group they had already teed off and had 4 in the group already. Spent 5 holes trying to join a group just to have some interaction with other people. Was a little unpleased with the service but the course was awesome.
rough
The rough was too high. Spent a lot of time looking for my ball, even if it was only three feet away from the fairway.
Wide open beginner course
Very open course that you can’t get in much trouble on. Great for beginners and people wanting to learn. Course was in good condition. Greens rolled well. Pace of play was very slow but expected as people are out there learning. Will be back.
Great
Love this course
