East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

Terrible condition
I played this course many times 50 years ago and found the course to be in very good condition and well maintained through out. The fairways now are like playing in a pasture with virtually no sand trap maintainance. Greens were decent, everything else not good. Sadly, I would not recommend this course to anyone. Disappointing to say the least. I grew up learning to play golf on this course as a youth and to see it now was very disheartening.
Getting better
In general the course was in fairly good condition. Holes 10 and 18 though still need much work on the fairways. Greens were in pretty good shape. Bunkers are gravel pits, half with standing water.
Fastest Round at EV East
While the sides of the fairway are overwatered, the fairway itself is in good condition as well as the greens. We played 18 holes in about 3 hours, fastest on this course...why? Mainly two-somes and single. We enjoyed the fastest pace!
Good shape but wet
Course was in good shape we had an 8:00 tea time staff was amazing. The only downside is some areas were sopping wet to include where you can tell mowers and whatnot have bogged down and created some ruts and mucky areas. This was not over large portions of the golf course but it definitely affected about three or four holes. Only paid $45 for my tee time so it was definitely worth the money. And I totally understand why they were watering as much because it was in the mid to high 80s for that entire week. I will definitely be back!
Another Beautiful Day
I have been to this course a hanfdul of times now and hace yet to be dissapointed. The value per dollar is unmatched.
Very good value
The course is quite muddy understand it’s in a wetland area . The restaurant leaves much to be desired . 1time food was ok. Second time came out wrong so wrong ghost pepper cheese on hamburger could t eat it no sorry just no white cheese . Well sorry can’t eat there again .
Good intermediate course
Good for beginner/ intermediate players. Greens in good condition, approaches need a lot of work! Lots of bare ground and mud from over watering. Good for a practice round.
Love this course. Play once a week during the winter months. staff is wonderful, bar is always open as well. good times. Blaze
Pace
Pacer play was way too slow yesterday. We were on the course for 6 hours. It was either no monitoring or pushing too many groups into the time slots.
My son did the review - I'm recovering from surgery :(
A Must Play Destination
Awesome course!! Plenty of practice areas to sharpen your game. Then the 2 courses courses with no back ups…. Eagle Valley is my future stop over from the Bay Area.
Bogey Buster
This is a great course to work out the kinks in the golf swing. Grip and rip it kind of track.
