Countryway Golf Club

I played CountryWay on a Saturday. Which is not always a good idea because it’s one of their busiest days.. The pace of play was very slow because the course was crowded and at one point there were actually a group of six trying to play. I knew this was going to probably happen so we just sat back and tried to enjoy it as much as possible. The course itself was in fairly good shape. The greens were good fairways could use a little work but other than that it is a good option to a par 72 course.

There were some holes that moved the tee boxes forward, also large areas that were roped off because of the rain and were muddy! Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink! Literally no drinking water on the course, and it’s the middle of August, in Florida! Really BRING YOUR OWN HYDRATION!!

Greens are great, fairways are stable, peeps are friendly, it’s a nice little course and hard to beat for the money and time. It is challenging short course. Good luck!!

Played by myself, 18 holes in 2:45 and I’m not a good player. Par 62 so short but fun. Doug, the starter (shout out to WNY), was great. Great prices in clubhouse also…

Expectations are always low when the round is only 25 bucks but this course did not disappoint. The greens were definitely hit or miss, but pace was great for a Saturday morning and staff was friendly. From the blues it's a fun little course for the value.

The does need some water but the general sharp of the course is not so good it was much better months ago they let the greens go and the fairways are in pretty bad shape my opinion is they don’t care about the locals because every summer it goes down the drain but when the snowbirds and there money are here the course is in great sharp not fair to the lic golfers who support this course I. The summer hopefully they can bring it back to life it’s shame they don’t care about the locals best I give this course is 2.5 and that’s because of the staff or else’s it would be a 1 sorry please fix
