Definitely need to use course management

Overall good experience and would definitely recommend the course. The clubhouse staff are the best. We didn’t find a single fast food place for breakfast the entire 46 miles driven to get there. But they had breakfast sandwiches and they were great. Fun course to play!!

A Great Course

The course is very well maintained. The whole course is in great shape. The greens were a bit slow, but that's just a personal preference and not a knock on the golf course. The layout is nice. With water coming into play on many of the holes, it is a challenging, but fun track. I also like that you end up back at the clubhouse after each 9. I definitely recommend playing this course.

Good course

Best golf course I have played since moving to central florida 2 years agɔ from West Palm, Florida. I don't know why it was playing very slow (5 hours). I hit à good drive down the Middle of 18th hole over the hill only to find out the water cuts into the 18th fairway but after my drop my third shot was short of the green and then I saved par by chipping in to save par.

Deer Island is beautiful

For a course that has water on every hole it extremely fair to the average golfer. Fairways are ample and greens large and accepting. The staff was helpful and the restaurant staff rounded out the day perfectly. I will return.
