Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course

Great track and nice way to spend Father's Day morning. Difficult layout that makes you think off the tee and challenging second shots to elevated greens. Conditions of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens were pristine. Disappointed with the condition of the bunkers. No bunkers had been raked in days. They were rock hard and left no footprints they were so hard. Staff was very courteous and very welcoming. Superior amenities. I'll go back to play the other course.

Got a great deal on Tee Off. This is a “top of the line” course. Great design, great shape, great pro shop and restaurant. I try to play here a few times a year. Go, if at all possible.

the course was great, Please put a cooler of Ice at the turn on both courses, we did not see a beverage cart till the 16th hole.

The El Campion was one of the most beautiful courses I've ever played. I found all the water holes to be very challenging for someone at my skill level with only one year of experience. I look forward to playing again in the future. The personnel were so friendly and helpful!

Course is one of the most unique layouts you’ll find in central Florida. Greens/Fairways were in perfect condition. A few tee boxes were a little beat up but not a major issue. They are starting to punch greens 6/8

I grew up playing this course in junior tournaments back in the 1980s. It has remained a classic Florida course, very challenging with demanding T-shots and strategy for each hole. Of course, it has been redone and changed around since they added the other course in the mid 90s. The pace of play was excellent, it was in the afternoon and not many people on the course. Overall, the condition was great, the greens were slow for my preference, but the fairways were good and the elevation changes make it unique for Florida. biggest critique was the bunkers, they were very hard seemed like there was only a half inch of sand covering a very hard surface. Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone looking for something different and challenging.

Course was in great shape. One of my favorite courses in Lake County. Great layout, challenging but fun.

All aspects of course is great. Got hot deal from Tee Off. only complaint is carts that constantly beeps and gives you unnecessary messages.

Drove from Lakeland Florida where everything is flat and at this time of year either dead or hard pan. Course was in incredible shape not even considering the drought that we are currently in. There were only maybe two greens that had any type of dead area. All the water hazards were extremely low I can only imagine how difficult this course would be if and when we get rain. Thank you very much for an incredible visit.

Amazing layout that forces you to play golf shots and not just swing as hard as you can. Although there seems to be a little bit of an infection on some of the greens, they are doing their best to get them to 100%

Real good shape all around. A couple spotty greens only trouble here. Hopefully they correct that. Proper flag placement avoids the problem areas but they should be much better to match the rest of the course. El Campeon. I’ll be back. Great cart person, Suzanne.

This is one of the best layouts in Florida and the condition of the course was immaculate.

Pace of play was abysmal. There was no ranger trying to get it to speed up. The course conditions were nowhere near the cost of the round of $150. I love the course, but the pace of play and cost were out of bounds.
