Arlington Ridge Golf Club
About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Great Greens
First time playing in Arlington Ridge in about three years. The greens are as good as it gets the fairways has grass a little thin, but they do have grass much improvement from when I played it a few years ago. The roof is very dry and not a lot of grass, but understandably we are in a severe drought in Central Florida I will give them a pass on that. Hopefully the rains come this summer and give this course so much needed moisture to bring the course back to life, it will be a great facility then.
Arlington Ridge
Solid Course with excellent greens. Will definately go back!
Desperately needs rain
They have done a good job keeping the fairways and greens healthy, most of the rough has dried up and blown away. Not their fault.
Everyone on the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Really appreciate them.
The rough
Way to many bare spots. To many short flat grass spots.
Needs work
Seems like they are trying to bring it back. Greeks look good, albeit slow. Fairways OK. Tee boxes decent. No rough… it’s either dirt or weeds. Give it some time.
Course friendly
The course is in good shape and is friendly to golfers. It has some challenging greens but fairways are wide open. You don’t spend a lot of time looking for balls off the fairways. I always enjoy playing there.
Very nice layout. Course is in decent condition given the Florida drought. Greens were fast. The rough along the fairways and around the greens needs work. Our round was very enjoyable.
Needs rain
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are 7/10, there is virtually no rough (no grass) at all, including around the greens. The penalty is too great if you miss a fairway or green. I trust this is temporary and due to drought conditions.
Tees, fairways and greens are great. Rough is completely dead and very difficult finding any grass to hit from.
ROUGH
The course was in bad shape just off the the fairways, little to no grass, looks terrible, the greens are in okay shape along with the tee boxes. Needs work!
4 Stars
Greens were in GREAT shape wide open course. Pace of play was great...would've given 5 stars if the bar was open on Sundays
Wonderful course will play it again when I'm in Florida
Great greens
Given the drought conditions in central Florida, the course was in great condition.
