Stay away from this course at any price. SHOTGUN START ONLY!
First thing to know is this is SHOTGUN START ONLY and doesn't state that on GOLFNOW. Next, they have altered the holes on the course and not sent in the requirements to several GPS manufacturers, so you are playing "blind" on every shot. The fairways and greens were okay except there were lots of places with casual wayer and muddy spots. The tees were poor, sand traps awful, rough a mess. They have changed the location of the clubhouse and there are no signs to indicate taht or where to go. It took us almost ten minutes to find the 10th tee even after asking several residents where it was. The management doesn't value or care at all about the non-resident players from GOLFNOW! I spoke to an employee and also called GOPLFNOW about this course - it doesn't belong on GOLFNOW!
Wet and Doggy
The staff here is super friendly however the course needs lots of work. The greens are outstanding but the fairways are wet and soggy. Drainage system needs work.
Hidden GEM
I've golfed quite a bit for a still working stiff, but this course was such a GREAT SURPRISE! Great staff, PERFECT pace, challenging but FUN! Greens are immaculate! The nature is plentiful! Great day of golf all around! The carts are even great, clean, FAST! Price is absolutely RIGHT! Definitely will be my GO TO! GREAT course!
Fairways decent, greens a little damp
Course management has done a good job bringing the course back sfter being flooded by hurricane Milton. Challenging course with water but faiways decent, wet in some areas.
Would play again.
We were told the cousre is to go through major renovation starting in late April through October and will be closed.
Pass on this course unless you are a beginner.
We were slotted in a members tourney shot gun start. Pace was very slow and the group in front of us was old and slow. Talked to the Marshall about slow play but he really did not do anything about it.
The course was not in good condition. In general the course was damp and wet. Much of the rough was muddy and some had deep tracks where it looked liked carts had been stuck in the mud and then worked their way out. Big problem.
The greens were not very good. Not smooth at all and weather beaten. Very slow and hard to putt on.
On the good side the people were friendly and helpful.
This is really a course that is not well maintained and looked after. I think I paid $50 for the round. Probably got what I paid for.
Only thing I didn’t like was our garmin golf watches didn’t work on back nine
All shotgun starts - be advised
Conditions on greens and fairways are decent - rest of course (bunkers, tees, rough) well below par. Price is okay. Shotgun starts not my cup of tea so I can't recommend this course.
59 Shots
Fantastic and fun layout, staff was very accommodating and friendly wish the course conditions were a little bit better but overall a fantastic experience, would definitely recommend the course.
Great place, weird interaction
Great course, great layout, but arrived for my tee time just to not be able to get into the complex. Individual at the gate was rude and decided to ignore me as he saw me waving at him and then as I knocked at the window. He would not let me into the complex until 7am because he said “those were the rules”. Weird rules if you offer 7am tee times to not allow people to come in on time to at least get ready etc.
Proshop and marshals were great, they let me know the course was still having some water issues after the storm, but overall the course was great. Tee boxes, and greens were good, and fairways were good other than some having some puddles/water from the storm.
Would definitely come back and bring some friends!
Great Conditions
Always enjoy this course. Tee to greens in great shape.
Great value - good shape
Interesting.... short but Challenging course. Lots of water. Requires strategy so playing for the first time makes it difficult. I lost quite a few balls after hitting...what I thought....were good shots then could not find them or they were definitely in hazard. The more you play the better the score. Good shape. Great value
Great course with friendly staff
It is a great course. All of the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended. The only thing need a sign from the gate entrance to the pro shop
