Pleasantly surprised
Our first visit and everyone we encountered from residents to the pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful. This course has water hazards everywhere and made our experience that much more fun.
Great course!!
Very nice course for the price and in pretty decent condition. The place has a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The course has quite a bit of water, which makes it a little more challenging, but also makes it really enjoyable to play. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the price!
Great when it’s a golf now deal.
We played this course when it was a hot deal, ended up being $20. The greens were not rolled and very very slow. If you get past that, not horrible course for $20
Clerbrook Golf
Played this course a few times. Greens could use some work, but overall the course is great for the price. Staff was very friendly and helped us navigate the course layout. Be aware, most holes have water hazards.
Great little hidden gem
This is probably the best course for the money in the area. For $40 all said and done for 18 holes, a cart, and bottles of water and Gatorade from the clubhouse, you can’t beat it! The fairways are in great shape, the greens (16 of 18 of them) are in great shape (the green on 10 or 11 needs some love, but evidence of said love being given is on the course. Just give it time for the grass to set in) and the course is challenging! I’ll for sure try and be out here at least a few Saturdays/Sundays a month now. Both times that I’ve played these past 2 weekends, I’ve had the course to myself basically too. It’s great!
Mixed review!!
Staff was super friendly. No complaints there. Course lay out is confusing. Not enough signs to inform players where is next hole. On this day, greens were terrible. Full of sand and rough patches made it hard to read. For the price, course needs way more attention. Not sure we will play there again if these condition continue.
Coming back!
I played this course back in 2024 before the big hurricane and the course going under water. Some of the blue tee boxes are still recovering but most are rather decent for the most part. Fairways were good, and greens were heavily worked on for sure!
The golf course has a new clubhouse which is being worked on heavily, and we were informed there’s a part time kitchen and hoping for the bar to be done soon. This is definitely more of a laid back golf course to work on your game not a PGA level course but definitely has the option to be up there.
Layout has changed in this golf course so be aware of that if you are looking for hole 10 make a right on Red Fox Rd and go straight down that road and you will see it at the end. We definitely enjoyed our day there today!
Good Value
Interesting as they set this up as a Shotgun. Course in solid condition and a great value. Must be aware that "members" with their own carts will be jumping all over the course and suddenly appearing before you on the tee, when nobody was in front of you before. We had id happen a couple of times, and just let it roll off our backs as we were not in a hurry. If it bothers you, beware
Avoid booking here with GolfNow
Tee time 1:30. Tee’d off behind member scramble. Pace of play good. After 6 holes we were advised that there would be a 1hr+ delay before we could tee off on 10. They had another member scramble starting ahead. NO BAR in clubhouse. Asked for partial refund was told to pursue with GolfNow. Course maintains they receive zero$ from money we paid to GolfNow
Stay away from this course at any price. SHOTGUN START ONLY!
First thing to know is this is SHOTGUN START ONLY and doesn't state that on GOLFNOW. Next, they have altered the holes on the course and not sent in the requirements to several GPS manufacturers, so you are playing "blind" on every shot. The fairways and greens were okay except there were lots of places with casual wayer and muddy spots. The tees were poor, sand traps awful, rough a mess. They have changed the location of the clubhouse and there are no signs to indicate taht or where to go. It took us almost ten minutes to find the 10th tee even after asking several residents where it was. The management doesn't value or care at all about the non-resident players from GOLFNOW! I spoke to an employee and also called GOPLFNOW about this course - it doesn't belong on GOLFNOW!
Wet and Doggy
The staff here is super friendly however the course needs lots of work. The greens are outstanding but the fairways are wet and soggy. Drainage system needs work.
