About
Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is carved from gently rolling hills located just outside of Orlando in the city of Leesburg. Although the wide fairways are relatively flat, the golf course's terrain provides the greens with gentle undulation. Sparkling lakes provide scenery while also coming into play as water hazards on nine holes. There are also doglegs and bunkers throughout to provide the golf course with even more challenges. Much of the land that the club occupies has been preserved as a wetlands area, offering golfers a glimpse of native wildlife. In addition to its natural beauty, Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is popular due to its accessible layout that accommodates both low and high handicap players.

Leesburg Hidden Gem
About 50 minutes outside Orlando. This is a great course to satisfy the golf itch. Well maintained greens and the challenging layout makes for a nice change from the high priced norm. My new go to when tee times get booked up in Orlando.
Very nice course
Rates could be lower. Pace of play could be better.
Great course, great people
I frequently play this course and always find it in very good condition. Mike and Laura behind the counter are the best there are. The rates are very reasonable. I’m happy to drive the 20 miles to enjoy the course and the dining room. Food and staff are the best!

great course in great shape. greens are quick, would
love to see some golfers repair their pitch marks on greens.
Excellent value compared to the area courses. Pretty good shape with a reasonable green fee. Fun course.
Decent Short Course
Overall a nice course. The course has some tricky placements of greens, so be mindful of tee and approach shots. The tee boxes are coming along and the fairways on some holes are a little thin. The greens are rolling very well!
Definitely worth playing before the rates go up!

Good course to practice for your short game.
Need some attention on tee box and some fairway, green was great, staffs was very friendly, good pace to play, will be back soon.
