Golfer Reviews
The better big cat
First time played Leopards Chase and was delighted with the course layout, its condition and staff friendliness.
Leopards Chase
Weather has been extremely hot and dry. Course was in good shape considering weather. Course has a beautiful layout and challenging but not Nicholas challenging which makes it a pleasure to play.
I played it for the first time and the course was fun and the price was fitting.
I would definitely recommend this course and would love to play it again when the weather has been more cooperative and the course is in better shape.
8/23 Leopard’s Chase
Great layout. Greens really good on the day we played. Newer Bermuda greens. Rolled well. No complaints. Fairways with good grass density. Course in overall good shape. They could tighten maintenance up a little, just like many other courses. I would look forward to playing again.
Great Layout and Condition
Our favorite course in the region. It’s challenging to play. Greens were in fabulous shape. They were top dressed and rolled before our round so the greens were speedy but rolled true. The fairways have occasional bare spots, but mostly in good shape. Friendly staff too.
Pick another course
Signature hole was a dried up pond no waterfall fairways were like hard rough was very ragged greens rolled even but afterwards you wiped off more sand than grass off your ball cart path was like riding in a parking lot with nothing but speed bumps
Chasing the Leopard
The course was in very good condition. The layout is great. A few challenging holes but overall, manageable. Just hit it straight. Really enjoyed it.

Great course
Greens were in outstanding shape. Rolled true with consistent speed on all 18 holes. Playable but challenging layout. Staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. Would definitely play again.

Great course.
Beautiful course and very well maintained. Challenging course with narrow fairways.

Great Course- Nice People
My buddy and I played. Course was pretty empty. We played 18 in about 4 hours. Neither one of us a great golfer. We never saw anyone on the course but the Cart Lady. It was really nice. Greens were solid and undulated. Fairways weren't great as the drought has really affected the fairways. Great layout of course. Negatives... The par 3's were a little short. Other than that great course. Amenities were unimpressive. The club house reminded me of a 1970's club house.. with a snack bar. Actually, the 1970's club house was better. People were nice though.
Thank you for the excellent Five Star Review of Leopard's Chase. We appreciate your patronage and feedback. Our snack bar is small, but Glenna and Karen do a great job out there! Be sure to check out the other three Big Cat Courses. Thanks again!

First time playing
The course itself has a great layout. Not a great course if you can hit a ball over 240 yards tho. Fairways are rock hard and mostly dirt. You get an insane amount of rollout and will either lose your ball in the water or get stuck in one of what seemed like hundreds of bunkers. If you are staying near here go ahead and try it out but I wouldn't pay full price for a round here ever.
Thank you for taking the time to review Leopard's Chase. We are currently in drought conditions and are doing our best to feed the fairways, but water is definitely an issue at this time. We hope you visit us again soon. Be sure to check out our other Three Big Cat Courses. Thanks again!

Most notably was the friendliness of all staff at the course. Not always the case and was noticed. Course layout was fun and challenging. Not quite as difficult as some information suggested, but can see how it could play tough. Greens were healing nicely from aeration but well manicured and played reasonable for where at in healing process. Fairways were a little thin to be honest but again not problematic. A course where a little local knowledge would be nice, so good one to play again, which I’d gladly do!
Thank you for the wonderful Four Star review. We do appreciate your patronage and feedback. We work hard daily to provide a fun and memorable golf experience and the staff has a big hand in that, so thank you. Be sure to check out the other three Big Cat Courses. Thanks again!
Great Choice
Played this course as a foursome in late June. 4 1/2 hrs. Despite the extended heat wave and local drought conditions this course was in excellent condition. Great layout. NIce mix of short par 3's/ long par 3's and short 4's and long par 4's. No trickery. No blind shots. The course is in front of you. Just execute the necessary shot required. Given all the courses in the area and options. This course should be in everyones rotation.
Thank you for the excellent Five Star review of Leopard's Chase. We appreciate your patronage and feedback. We agree, Leopard's Chase is in great shape and we expect course conditions to only get better! We hope you visit again soon and be sure to check out the other three Big Cat courses as well.
