About
The Bear Course is one of two courses at the Bear Creek Golf Complex; it is a championship-length course while the other, the Cub Course, is an executive length course. The Bear Course is an inland, links-style course with rolling fairways and well-manicured greens. Strategically placed bunkers situated throughout the course add some challenge to the course. A round of golf on this course can be played in less than four hours. The Bear Creek Golf Complex, in addition to the two courses, also offers a full grass driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area with a bunker.

Not great
Bit of a goat track
Definitely not as good as it was years ago. Building a clubhouse does not improve the course.
Golf cart youngsters very lazy.
No water on course
Cart person only saw 1 time then was told last call after only being on course for 1 hour

Pretty rough
I had much higher expectations based on the price we paid for this round. The staff was kind but that’s about where it ended for us. The course was rough. The range was all sand and beat up your clubs. The fairways were ok, but many spots were very wet and somewhat muddy. The greens were extremely dry and bare in many spots. The ball would roll and basically not stop. The pace of play was abysmal. We waited on every hole from start to finish for at least 5 minutes. We watched the group in front of us tee off on every hole. And group behind us watched us. Some holes had three groups on them. The ranger came through and said they identified the slow group, which was 4 groups ahead of us, and assured us the pace would improve. It never did. We’ll choose a different course going forward.
Don't get thirsty!
First off, I booked through GolfNow and tee times seemed hard to come by but when I arrived at the course, I found out that hardly any tee times had been made. I ended up playing most of the round by myself.As my title states, don't get thirsty out on the course due to ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE unless you either purchase some in the lounge, or fill up a water bottle from jugs located outside the Pro Shop. Speaking of the Pro Shop. Two women, with not very friendly attitudes. I was a little put off by this especially since this was my first time visiting the course.
Staff is great
Not a bad outing. A few holes could be patched up.(Hole 17, im talking to you.)

Course is in great shape, greens fast and in good shape. Friendly staff and very helpful.
Bear Creek review
The course was in good shape. The greens o. tge frint 9 were bladed which didn't affect play. Overall the course was in goid shape. The only issue I had was with the Marshall. For some reason he believed our group wasn't following the coursd policy. He came up on our group yelling that he had warned us about not following the rules and he was taking our cart keys. When he realized he had the wrong group he just drove off. No aplogies just drove away. People pay good money to golf at this course and it shouldn't be ruined by a poor representative of the course. I've let management know but haven't heard back.
Same old Bare (Bear) Minimum (Creek)
Greens were decent. Rest of course is dirt or gravel. Hadn't played here in many years and thought I would give it a try. Sad I did. General disrepair everywhere. It's clear maintenance is not a priority here.
Nice course
Pace of play was great. Course was on great shape. Friendly staff. Will play here again.
Forgiving Course
This course is really forgiving, especially since there are no houses on any hole! Conditions were good all around and pace was good.

Best condition I've seen this course in. Played in 4 hours. Good fairways, greens were in great shape but hard to read. Will play again soon.
