Course Highlights
Quintero's dramatic elevation changes and uniquely designed holes make it one of Arizona's most celebrated layouts. Welcoming staff and well-maintained conditions consistently reward golfers who make the scenic drive out.

About

Holes 18
Type Semi-Private
Style Desert/Traditional
Par 72
Length 7249 yards
Slope 148
Rating 75.3

Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Amazing as always. Best in state. Not even close. Not for the average player. Tough but rewarding.

Best in state. Not even close. Amazing track. Every hike is challenging and must play within your handicap. Not for the weak. But another great day on an amazing track.

Great Course

Great deal on GolfNow made round very affordable. Round included range balls. Course layout required a 7 minute cart drive to get to the driving range. About same drive to get back to the clubhouse when round was done. Grass driving range was nice. Putting and chipping near driving range as well as first tee.

Fairways and greens in great condition. Never got a bad lie in the fairway and green speeds were great. Sand traps were good but not too much sand in them. Still nice to hit out of. Lots of elevation changes made the course fun to play. My range finder has slope yardage on it and it came in handy I must say.

I had tacos after the round which were very good. Grill closes at 6 so i ordered a burger to go for my wife since she was picking me up.She really like the burger and it was large and very filling.

Will play again when I'm in the area.

Beautiful and challenging

Practically every hole is picturesque. Green speeds are very consistent hole to hole and lean to the fast side but not overly so. Course layout is the best I have played in awhile. Do not hit out of the fairway and it’s always better to be short than long on approach shots. I’ve machines through out the course is a huge plus. Staff was gracious and helpful. I will certainly play again when I’m back in the area. Amazing course, even in the middle of summer.

There's a reason its nationally recognized

Best course ive played in AZ. Greens perfect even in the off season, roll so perfect. Fairways are great, bunkers are true bunkers not AZ dirt bunkers. Already looking for another date to play asap.

Must play

Was a part of 16 guys that were going to play there. Show up, no tee time made. Communication error that Quintero wasn't apart of but I was disappointed anyway. Guys up front moved some ppl around to accommodate us. We ended up not playing that day.

I went back 2 days later bc I really wanted to play here again, even if it was as a single.

I showed up and realized I had left my clubs at home. (Not the first time I've done this but the pain feels fresh and new like it's the first) Guys up front offered to rent me clubs at a discount knowing I was 1.5 hrs from home. Gave me a glove and some balls. I was really grateful for their gracious discount knowing that I bring these problems on myself.

It began as what can only be likened to a Sherpa's climb to the practice facility. 3 days and 2 nights later, we arrived. It was pristine. Not hitting out of sand with grass chutes, or just a gouged out sand box you usually see this time of year. AND NO MATS!!

The course is hard. Lots of sand. Out of the fairway and your ball now belongs to the javelinas and burros. The turf is perfect and the greens were in phenomenal condition. They were slow but I played in mid June so that could be due to weather, grass change, or something outside my wheelhouse. I can't keep my own grass short so I have no room to offer opinions to them. They don't break as much as they look and "everything breaks to the Valley". Whatever that means.

I paid $99. 3 months ago it was $400. This is worth every cent you pay. Definitely a course to put on the list.

Great golf but not worth the price.

Honestly a super cool golf course, but I wouldn’t pay the big in season fees to play here. The lounge area and clubhouse are small, which surprised me being my first time out there. Overall great service, friendly staff, and the course was difficult, but totally gettable if you find the fairway.

Favorite

From the range to the pro shop, I just found the Quintero experience to be exceptional. Fun holes, fair and fairly straight-forward. After playing once, I’ll know what some of the tee shots call for but was fairly easy to figure out.

Looking forward to playing here more in the future.

Greens

Greens were slower than expected. This is the second time I have played it since the grass was put in last summer. The old greens were better. The course is still beautiful.

Outstandi g

A bit out of the way from PHX but well worth it. Had a hot deal for ~$100, had points so played no cost. Treated me wonderfully and were all around great! Staff is outstanding and exceedingly friendly. Started got me out two hours earlier than time. Would go back without a doubt. Way better than the big name tournament course in Scottsdale!

2nd Time & will return

I have played over 80 courses here in Phoenix and this course is one of my favorite here in Phoenix. It is worth the drive out of the city. The course was amazing and the scenery was picturesque!!! Grabbed it on a hot deal and brought a friend that said the price was well worth it and will pay to play here again. You will not regret your choice to play here. You will regret not playing sooner.

Remember to clean up after yourself so the course is amazing for everyone behind you, so the course stays in amazing shape!!!
