Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Golfer Reviews
Disaster
I have played Kings Ridge over the years and it has never been in the bab condition it is now. From tee to green it is absolutely horrible. I played because I had a $25.00 deal. It isn’t worth $25.00 and they charge over $50.00. Tee boxes don’t have gras but tgey have plenty if weeds. The fairway you need an ATV to navigate your way to the green. The greens don’t have grass but they also have plenty of weeds. It was horrible. I can only compare the condition to Hunters Creek right before it closed.
Worst course I’ve played
This is u unfortunately the worst course I have ever played. So sad to see that this course has gotten so run down over the years. There is NO grass in the fairways or on the greens. Consider playing anywhere else and save your money.
Such a Tragedy!!
Guys conditions are just unacceptable.. fairways full of weeds grass and dirt everywhere and the greens are just atrocious!! We've been coming to this course for several years. A fantastic layout with alot of elevation changes that we don't usually get into the Central Florida.. just a great, fun course. However don't think we'll be coming back here until there's a major turnaround it just is unplayable!!
Needs a lot of work
Greens fairways and tee box all need a lot of work.
Great Florida Course (Clermont is Hilly)
Great time and they have all beef hotdogs. Relatively short course. 6100 from the tips.
Town of clermont has restricted watering and the coarse is starting to look it. Still a good deal
Course needs work
The course has potential but needs a lot of work. The greens are a 2 out of five and many fairways need help.
Do Not Waste Your Money Here
Course was in terrible shape all around! To be charging anything more than $20 is absurd... it is a literal goat ranch and they are charging $40-$50
Not worth more than $40
Called ahead and the pro shop said the greens were good and just some dirt spots in the fairways. The greens in reality looked like shag carpet, no chance theyve been mowed in the last week. And I'd say the fairways were 65-70% dirt. Shame too becuase they have a nice layout.
The drought
You can tell the drought we’ve had Florida hurt Golf Course. It’s a great layout. They’re doing the best.
$20 great deal if you shoot on her 85 you’re not gonna like the conditions and you should just use it as a practical round rolling your ball for some grass
If you shoot over 85 to 100 roll your ball all day and have a good time. The greens are really slow probably f5step meter
course has not been taken care of
fairways are in terrible condition. greens were slow but playable. I was amazed at how this course has gone downhill. Sad to see.
Great experience
From walking in the pro shop to the end of my round, it was a great experience. The customer service was amazing! The course has a great layout and good greens. The fairways needed a little love, but I really enjoyed playing the course. It’s beautiful and the people that work there are the friendliest people on earth. 5 star experience!
Nice layout, Fairways are Really Bad
We returned to play this course after about a year away. Unfortunately, the fairways were in atrocious shape due to bad weeds, severe lack of grass, dirt everywhere. Many of the tee boxes and a few green were also in rough shape. I'm not one to really complain about course conditions as you get what you pay for, but the fairways here are a serious issue that needs to be remediated.
Dirt Fairways
Tee boxes in very bad condition the fairways were more
Like dirt walkways. This is the worst I have ever seen this
