Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Very nice course and good value for money
Played here for the first time, would like to play several times to get a hang of it, challenging at parts but overall nice course. They did some recent maintenance on the greens so some of them were quite bumpy but overall in good condition.
Great conditions for late “winter”
There was very few complaints today. The course is in great shape for the fairways and greens. The tee boxes weren’t in horrible shape either. I always love coming to see this course in great shape for some “budget” golf. Off the fairway needs a little work but you shouldn’t be there anyway. For one of the cheapest winter time golf courses around I recommend it.
ctpat
Fair course for all player ability. Love the elevation changes and no ponds.
Kings Ridge Champions
One of my go to courses. Great play for the right price. Marked improvement in its condition over the last year. Love the layout.
Shameful
It’s starting to annoy us local off it’s shameful these snowbirds come down here and ruin the game for us 7 hour rounds don’t care won’t let people pass them while they all go and watch each other shots go 15 yards then go to the other Person shot to do the same thing glad there out here golfing but have some respect and let others play through please snow birds stay the Beep home all you do is up the prices out the A for us locals and slow the pace of play down so much it ruins the fun for us golf course need to start having a flat rate for local all year around and snow birds charge them100x more to stay away just tired every round no matter where I play it’s a 7 hour rounds waiting 30 min for each shot it’s unreal
Course needs work
Greens were good, fairways were spotty at best. Rough was no existent
An enjoyable round
We booked a hot deal on GolfNow for our 3 ball. we were joined by Mike who works in the pro-shop. He was very entertaining company and passed on some useful tips about each hole. The course was mostly in great shape (except for a couple of sanded greens). Pace of play was good and the price for this time of year was great. Will come back.
Kings Ridge
Very good! Price, conditions and pace of play were all good. Kings Ridge is not over priced in comparison to similar courses. The comparison of conditions works very well for this course. It was as good in all aspects as other overpriced courses
Never a level put
made time thru golf now as a single. rental clubs were interesting. 357 no driver, I asked for a driver and she pulled one from three identical bags on display. mine were not reserved and came from the back. w,9-5 and 52,56. the 52 was a nike with NO groves should have been trashed. played with two ladies and gentlemen that had previously reserved clubs. but they had one short 14° driver between them. mined matched their set so we used it. course was fine after bad winter. greens were slow and hilley, I thought kind of fun more serious golfetscwould hate never a straight flat putt. bunkers on every hole but never saw a rake.
Golfing with a friend
The course was exactly what you expect for 50.00 . Solid, fairways slightly under average, greens were near perfect. It’s not the country club, but could be in the future with some effort. Excellent course for 50.00 in the middle of the state. Definitely would play it again.
Popular course this course
Kings Ridge has a good layout. The course is overcrowded and play is slow. Drinking water may have been available at the bathrooms. $3.50 to purchase a bottle of water was excessive. The slope is low. The tees and fairways were pretty good considering the drought. The greens are always extremely slow
