Legends Golf & Country Club

Third time playing this course.

Don't think the rough was that deep. I'm guessing it had been recently cut because of all the big clumps of dead grass but still very thick.

My fault for not staying in the fairway.

Greens were EXCELLENT!

Will play this course again.

The course has had a lot of rain on it. It's holding up quite well but there are a number of very soft areas. Greens are in great shape. Really welcoming staff.

Great course, great layout, great conditions. You better bring snacks because they dont have anything. No beverage cart on the course or even a pit stop after hole nine.

Greens are much improved and getting back to what we expect at Legends. Fairways need some work.

Course is in horrible condition. Have played here several times over the years and can honestly say this looks like it did before it closed last time. Super thin fairways and tee boxes. A lot of bare/dirt spots. Unraked bunkers. Evan mowed “fairways” are just clumps of grass. I realize the heat wave going on but this is by far the worst conditions of any local courses.

Not in the best shape, very nice layout with some challenging holes.

But some TLC is needed.

Great track but the conditions are not good right now. Greens are in good shape but every where else is horrible. Clubhouse closed and no beverage cart. Too many other options in Central FL to accept the current situation at this course.

Fairways and greens showing lack of attention with bare spots, lack of mowing. Course not in what’s typically good conditions.

Also, the restaurant and bar has lost its permit and no food and drinks were available on a hot, sunny day. Unfortunate they didn’t warn us no cart girl available on course so we can plan accordingly.

If going to Legends, plan to pack your own drinks.

Lovely course, well maintained BUT no reliable source of hydration. When Florida is 94 degrees- they have signs prohibiting coolers- BUT no beverage cart- No restaurant- that’s just asking for your patrons to get heat stroke.

Brings down all the course’s ratings.

You could always count on good greens. They are currently a mess. Been punch and sanded twice in the last 6 weeks and they a long way to recover back to their usual condition.

It started pouring rain by the 5th hole, so we decided to stop play and head home. When I pulled up where return carts go, the gentleman inside the garage told me to ask pro-shop for a rain check. So I did! I truly wasn’t expecting that since it was my responsibility to look at the forecast..

However, the golf gods (and staff) showed me mercy!
