Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Played this course over the past 3; years and is an enjoyable experience. Fairways were decent and most all greens in good condition.

It was a fun course the only issue is it technically is only a nine hole course but with that said it was fun.

This is my best friends local country club and it’s a great time. Layout is fun and cold brews are cheap. Always meet great people out at Swiss Fairways. Also very cool to watch skiers while driving down the fairways. New greens are rolling good.

The course is in amazing shape for late February. There’s just enough water and sand to require good players to choose their target. However, the wide fairways allow high handicappers to keep a ball in play.

Discovered that the course is a 9 hole layout after checking in. It played alright for 18 holes byswitching up the tee blocks. Fairways are decent but very dry with thin spots. Rough areas were dusty and no real grass. Sand traps were the best maintained areas of the course. Pace of play was good but the course was not busy when I was playing. Staff in the pro-shop was very nice and helpful for a 1st timer at the course.

Played several other courses when I have been down on vacation. This was by far the best course conditions. Nice track, greens are smooth and true, fairways in great shape. Pace of play has been really good. Already have more rounds planned here - great value for the money.

The staff are nasty .I know we were early as our appointment we had before golf was cancelled, so we were too early .

However , there were no other golfers coming for an hour which we were paired with .

Would not give us a cart to load .

Had to wait , ok ,

But in the process shop is 3 large barking dogs , and growling as well .

Bathrooms on the course are closed ,so need to come to club and walk thru the dogs again to go to restroom . Not pleasant . Tried to talk with the boss , would not give me the time,of day . Because we used golfnow to play .

State you know it’s the same price if yo just come thru the club.

Also asked if they sold martini tees , oh no because they never break .

So unpleasant and controlling

Wouldn't check me in.Said can't T off until assigned T Ti me. .Golf now T time...There was No one On the tee or waiting to play. Never had this happen before .Why??????

Course was nice , nice greens, nice fairways .

But staff not friendly at all

And have 3 big dogs in pro shop that growl and bark .was afraid of the,

Washrooms on course not available ,so had to go into Pro shop with dogs again.

Staff upset because we use GolfNow .

And said it would be same price if you come in here.

I know coupon says you must start at the time given . But we were early because of a cancelled appoint . No other golfers and had to wait 1 hour , and would not even give us a cart to load . And really no new golfers were ahead of us .

Asked if they sold Martini tees , said No because they don’t break.

Very unpleasant people

We booked our round of 18 holes not knowing there is only nine available holes to play. So we played the same nine holes twice, using different tee boxes on each 9 holes as indicated on the scorecard. Very disappointing. It should have been listed as a nine hole course, not an 18 hole course.

We played Swiss Fairways as a four ball from England with pretty low expectations to be honest. However, we were very pleasantly surprised with the layout and excellent condition of the greens. Very good value for money.
