About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

One of my favorites
Great layout, course in very good shape and staff is friendly and professional. No real amenities to speak of but I’m not looking for that.
Outstanding Course
Okay I will admit this may have been on me but the 1st time I went I had a 530PM reservation (I assumed) they would stay open to the last player but they REQUIRE all karts to be returned by 6:40PM latest. That gave me the most a hour of play time for a 18 hole reservation which was pretty disappointing because I was really getting to know the course and enjoying it 100%. So I quickly squeezed my last 3-4 holes and got back at 9:40PM.
The 2nd time I went I made sure to reserve for a 4PM and got there earlier to see if they let me tee off earlier which they did and was able to enjoy this remarkable clean well kept course. Also, Too freidnly staff members. I had a great time I also had my lowest score to date on this course. This will be my home base course for now on. As far as the facility, staff they were perfect.
Best so far
This course is in great shape. We were a little hesitant due to some terrible reviews on Facebook. They are definitely incorrect. Greens were excellent and fast downhill. Fairways were in very good condition. A few bald spots in the fairways had new dirt and were being attended. I wish their prices were lower so I could afford to play there often.
Old time Florida golf
Course is in good shape greens were fast the pins were in hard spots overall the course is good shape, few tee boxes were worn but very playable. Great staff and a really challenging track.

This place is awesome! Go play a round here. I cannot wait to go back. Actually seeing inclines and any kind of fairway drops is just great in FL! I really enjoyed this course!
Green Vally Awsome time
This would have been my fifth time playing at Green Valley however this time around I was playing with my daughter and her fiance the play or pace of play better yet was pretty good the only thing I did not like are some of the locals who live on the golf course feel as if they own the golf course in fact we almost had an altercation with one of the neighbors other than that the greens are awesome the fairways were nice and clean green not sandy somewhat challenging however we had a great time
Green Valley is a great course for the money
The course was beautiful very well kept if anything the only problem I had with the course was the local golf players they feel like they own the place
Great to get out and play
I’m an intermediate level golfer getting back into the game after many years off, so I’m not very fussy on courses in general. But this is a VERY approachable course for beginners and intermediate skill level. Very wide open. Some areas have rough terrain off the green. But the fairways are in generally great condition and the greens as well.
