About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Cow pasture with putting greens.
I’ve been on this app now for about 6 years and have never on e written a review, this course is probably top 3 worst in the area. Hit every fairway and was hitting off hard dirt with no grass. Every tee box is hitting off a turtle back with no grass. For the money go play legends golf club or clermont national cause this is a waste
Labor Day round
First time playing here. Was a holiday and probably why our round took 5 hours. It was agonizingly slow… staff was super great and friendly! Pro shop and bar/restaurant! Course was in decent shape. They’ve had drought around there this summer so I’ll cut them some slack. Overall it was a great value for the $

Expected better
Pro shop helpful. Stuck behind a 5 ball. Most courses would not allow. Condition of the fairways poor. Greens ok.
Could be great.
The course was very choppy from the tee boxes to the fairways. My back was killing me after the round. The greens were in excellent condition. To many holes to drive through just to get to your ball.
The scheduling was bad
We had 4 people for our round. We were told to skip a hole and come back because there was some competition going on with three groups behind us that had to keep waiting for us. I think if you’re going to have a competition like that you should have 30 minute window before they start playing behind other people just trying have fun golfing.
Getting better! Greens / tees very good
Pleasantly surprised. Had not played here in a while. Always loved the layout but never in good shape. This time Tee Boxes and greens Much improved. 7/8 of 10 BUT 10/10 in terms of improvement. Greens rolled true and not many bare spots or dead spots. Very Good. Rest of course (Fairways and around paths eytc) not quite keeping up with Greens, but better nonetheless. Overall enjoyable and worth it. If stays on trajectory, willl be one of better in the area as the layout is really cool
