Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Great value
I had a better second experience with the staff. The lady up front was very courteous to everyone. The course is very hard with a lot of par 3s leaving very little room for error for a 20 handicap amateur. Not the course fault, I just need to get better. I didn't find a lot of course amenities. I needed to go to the restroom at one time and if you're not finishing your front 9, you're screwed. The course is pretty well maintained and very challenging greens. Overall I would recommend for the price I paid, I believe under $25 at this time of year can't be beat.
Not worth the money
I was very excited for this course I’ve lived in clermont for years and I finally decided to play here for the first time. My first thought was that it needs to be trimmed down but then the further I got into playing the greens are horrid it’s a shame they have you pay with conditions like that
Needs some TLC
The greens were extremely weedy and bumpy with many spots under repair. Most of the sand traps haven't been tended in days or even weeks as many had weeds growing in them.
Nice warm-up track to start the season
We played this course twice. Carts are required and included in the price. Both times we played very quickly. 2 and 1/2 hours for the second round (a cool and cloudy day). Pro Shop was great, pace of play fantastic, greens were slow, bumpy and being top dressed, lay out was fair and interesting and the rounds were inexpensive. We noticed a posted deal in the Pro Shop, ten rounds for $200. We will be back next year!
Let's hope things get better
I hadn't played the Ridge course in a few years, but my brother enjoys an executive course and I remembered having a great round on this hilly, well layed out course. Since that time, the pro shop and refreshments for this course, set at the far end of the King's Ridge development from the championship course, was shut down.
Paying for my round, I was given the key to my cart. After loading my clubs in the parking lot, I had to navigate, using a map that they supplied, to drive some .4 miles away to the first hole. It was on my trip that I noticed that the gas tank on my cart was at 1/8 full. Fortunately, I didn't get stranded.
In the past, this was a very enjoyable irons course. This time, not so much.
Getting Better
The greens are coming in. Rough is non existent. Fairway overseen is coming in. Greens need to be rolled…….very bumpy. Course is fun to play!
course is good for the price paid
Course is in spring conditions and it is not given a lot of attention to its upkeep I'am sure all the time and money goes into their championship course
Like this course
We have played here every year on our winter vacation. We love the design, the price was great, and the pace was good. Carts are very good. The greens are pretty rough, it could use some water on the fairways and more rakes for the sand traps.
