About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.

Terrible
This place is terrible. I booked a tee time for 4:05 PM. It gets dark around 6 PM right now so I thought I would be able to fit in 18 holes on the Executive course. I get to the pro shop and the guy doesn’t let me out because carts have to be in at 5 PM. Why would carts have to be in at 5 PM when it doesn’t get dark until 6. Seems like the worker just wanted to go home early.
You get what you pay for
The tee boxes were a little hairy, the fairways are in decent shape, and the greens a some work. For the price, It’s a good value for a casual round of golf.
Not even worth the Groupon ticket
This executive course has some potential with its layout, but it has been totally ignored and dilapidated
Very nice area and friendly team!
We had scheduled for the executive course, but it was under maintenance so they allowed us to play on the full length course instead. The team was so friendly at check-in and throughout our entire experience. They were very transparent about any maintenance happening on the course. And it was overall a really nice experience. I’ll definitely go back.
Immense potential
For the price, not terrible. There WAS a warning of "recovery conditions", but the poor state was a lot to deal with. The neighborhood was one of the most well kept and beautiful that i have ever seen. The course layout, scenery, was SO FUN. So many times I thought, "there's no way I'm in Florida..." But 80% of the greens were damaged, HALF were in a terrible state, and 2 of the holes were just purely UNPLAYABLE. EVEN BEING a par 3 course, if this was in decent condition, I would spend $40+ without question.
Worst Tee Boxes and Greens Ive ever seen.
Took some friends who never played on a course before and were extremely disappointed. Greens were pretty much unplayable, tee boxes weren't much better. Fairways were in decent condition. No one to staff the clubhouse near the course and the bathrooms were locked at the turn. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of $30, however should be valued at $15-$20.
Poor conditions tee box: fairways : greens
Some tee box’s air rated. Fairways uneven, a lot of bumps up & down. Little grass on approach shots, hard packed dirt on greens, concrete walls are falling down , unsafe conditions . Greens are hilly, hard packed dirt, & more weeds than grass. Looks & feels very neglected course! Sand trap walls ready to fall down, & weeds overflowing. Used to be a precious Executive Course to play with your wife: friends & grand kids . Not worth the money I paid. It’s a $ 15.00 - 20.00 at best. They are closing the course in a couple of weeks , roll the greens & make them fun again, it’s not the PGA or LIV !!!
Poor Conditions but Worth What We Paid
The golf course was in bad shape!! It felt like golfing in a desert with weeds. Now, it hasn’t rained much in weeks, so I understand to a point. I appreciated the friendly staff and that the course was empty. I can’t complain too much because we only paid $30 for 18 holes and the cart was included.
If you do plan on playing this course, it is a lot of walking up and down hills. The bunkers are also pretty deep. It was work, but fun.
Bad Shape
Course is in very bad shape. Greens are awful. Whoever is giving this course 5 star reviews must work in the pro shop because no golfer in their right mind would rate this course five stars.
New golfer, first time here
Played on my own for the first time today. The biggest standout is the friendliness of the staff. Every who worked there that I interacted with were awesome. Super friendly and helpful. As for course conditions, they’re not great but I didn’t mind while playing all that much. The layout was confusing and getting to the first hole was a trip after I missed the turn. All in all, I had a good time and enjoyed the course. I definitely see myself booking another tee time in the near future.
If you like executive courses
I'm basically a full course golfer. I play this executive course with my girlfriends. We have so much fun when we play together. Good course just to get out and play a round. This time of year, all the other courses are very expensive, this was just right!! Enjoy.
