Clermont National Golf Course

Disappointing. Have not played here in a year or so. First of all, practice green was brutally bad. Then on the course, the greens were incredibly inconsistent. Most were very slow but a few were fast. Impossible to gauge. Manicuring on entire course left alot to be desired - not in line with the prices they are charging. Additionally they were replacing all collars on the back so any and all approach shots or any chips around the green were seriously hindered. When I first played I thought this place was on the move, and despite them charging MUCH more than others in the area, I thought with a little more TLC it may be worth it. Unfortunately it has gone in the opposite direction. Not worth the premium and what's worse is .... given the condition of the practice green and especially the unplayable collars around the greens, there should have been a significant discount to the greens fees, but there were not.

A lot of local knowledge needed for this course. No punch holes, no sand but slow greens. Re-sodding the green edges.

Had a 8:30 tee time and they started us on the back, which is absolutely no problem, the tee boxes and the fairways were good, as were most of the greens, they were working on about 4 of them resodding the outside portion of them, so if you wanted to putt it from off the green you couldn't, they were also a little inconsistent. But all and all it was fun.

If you haven’t played this course in the last year, then is a must to play in the central Florida area. The fairways were in great shape, the greens were fast and challenging. The pace of play was good, we end off playin under 4 hours for the 18 holes. After completion of your game you can enjoy meals and drinks in the restaurant or trailers available with a great view of Clermont area. A new 18 holes mini putt course for family members and kids to enjoy after the game. The range is the new type of electronic technology available now were you can practice your shots, get feedback right away or just play a digital golf game in any golf course available in their computer.

Great course just be aware they aerated the greens about a week and half ago. Still I would say it is by one of the best courses to play in Clermont and Central Florida. Putting still wasn’t bad and the elevations on each hole made it fun and challenging.

Due to split tee times, and last group coming off of 10 to 1. the play pace was horrible. That group was not pushed to move quicker and not requested to move to appropriate tee boxes per their handicap.

If you want to get away from the flat Florida golf experience, this is 100% the course for you. So much fun. A lot like courses I’ve played in the Carolina’s.

I played with aerated greens so expected that. The experience was great except for the pace. There were 2 groups holding up play. On the 10th hole another group jumped in front of us. Apparently the management tries to run split tees but does not mange it well. 5 hour round in the hot sun with all the water tanks empty.

Avoid for a few weeks. Greens and parts of the fairways were punched on May 11-12.

Loved the layout of this course! It was my first time playing here and I would definitely play here again. Only complaint is that the greens were quite slow and it was hard to get a feel for them.

This course has become a must play in Central Florida. Challenging layout with great amenities. Always fun to play.

Just don’t care to hit off mats on the driving range.

We always enjoy a round at Clermont National. If you're a native Floridian, this "mountain" course will be filled with never before shots and views. ShotTracer bays to warm up and the best advice is to look for the highest point and then the lowest around you when putting, and the ball will roll from that high point to the low point. Regardless of what your eyes are telling you.

It was nice to play on a course that has well conditioned fairways, bunkers, and greens. The tees and greens could have been mowed a little closer.

If its windy you better have an "A" game! very up and down course with some tough areas to walk. Several narrow fairways and long par threes. (Blues)

Gotta be on top of your game and ready to be humbled here.

This course is well maintained and a great layout. Had a wonderful time. Only complaint was had to pay extra for range balls which are extremely expensive because the range is like a top golf type setup. highly recommend the course.
