Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
About
A Lloyd Clifton creation of Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole beauty and Lake County's best-kept secret. Great greens, severe elevation changes, and well-placed hazards will keep you focused on this course. By focusing on the importance of playability, aesthetics and maintenance, Clifton has captured the natural beauty of the area. It is "thinker's course" where players have an opportunity to use every club in the bag.
King's Ridge opened a second 18-hole course in 2002. The new Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is a Par 57, 3660-yard course designed by Ron Garl, making this an ideal location for your 36-hole day.

Popular course this course
Kings Ridge has a good layout. The course is overcrowded and play is slow. Drinking water may have been available at the bathrooms. $3.50 to purchase a bottle of water was excessive. The slope is low. The tees and fairways were pretty good considering the drought. The greens are always extremely slow
Greens are back
Greens much better than several months ago. Course on decent shape. Would be great if someone were.Pairing up the singles and pairs, made for some slower play but all in all a good round. Staff is always great
Florida Golf
This course has excellent value for the money & provides a good test for all skill levels.
Nice Course
NIce course in decent shape considering the drought there. Very playable for an average player with multiple tee selections to make it tougher. Enjoyed it.
Nothing to remember
Very slow greens, went with the speed of play.
Expensive at this time of year for what it is
Ohio golfer
Course is in good shape fairways had some green but still cut short..
Played the emerald tees. So say all the coirse the tee boxes were in goos shape.. probably cause most don’t play them….
Pace of play was good.. the started must not work past noon..
Made the turn went to get some cold beer and soda asked for ice and none was available.. at 88 degrees really could have used some…
A great twilight value
My wife and I played Kings Ridge for the first time for about 50 bucks on the twilight rate. The fairways and the greens were green, but due to the winter season and recent freeze anything off, the fairway was a little bit rough. Overall, it was a a decent value at the twilight rate, but I don’t think I would pay that much more than that for it.
Good Day of golf
Staff was very friendly on our check in, course in pretty good shape for this area of Florida not having a significant amount since October.
Kingsridge
I stopped playing this course because of deteriorating conditions. However, recent positive reviews prompted me to give it another try. I was pleasantly surprised by the vastly improved conditions. So much so, that a booked anther round before I left the course.
Early February Outing
Despite the cooler weather, 45 degrees at tee time,, we had a very nice outing as we were one of only a few groups on the course. Pace of play was excellent, 3:45 to get around. Course was in great shape and greens rolled nicely, perhaps a little slower than some of the other courses we played. Sub $60.00 round was a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend it from this experience. We usually play it when we come down here in February.
Needs some rain.
1st time playing and booked a $65 round as a single. Ultimately had a foursome of two locals and another tourist.
Proshop very modest and bar even less impressive. Course layout pretty good, played from the blue tees. Lots of scoring holes with short clubs.
All the water retention areas were bone dry. Everything off the fairway was dormant. Tee boxes were good. Greens had some minor damage areas but nothing terrible. Bunkers haven’t been cared for recently. Some of the pin positions were really outrageous.
Overall, considering the price and the much higher cost of courses in the Orlando area, this wouldn’t be a bad kickoff day course for a boys weekend.
Maybe if they get a lot of rain, everything greens up and the retention areas have water. It would be a much higher rated course.
Improved course conditions
Been playing this course for almost a decade and the condition of the course has never been better. They still have some improvements they can make but they have done a super job this year.
Enjoyed our round
The course was in very good shape for the time of year. Enjoyed the layout. Fun day on the course.
