Meadow Links Golf Course at George T. Bagby

Meadow Links is 7mi from my home so it's my local course, but that in no way biases my rating. The course is always in top shape. Of course like any location issues pop up but David and his crew always get it sorted in no time and it's back t9 normal. Great layout, hidden away location so its never crowded and the overall playability of Bagby for golfers of ALL skill levels make it a superior destination.

And not to steal away it's praise but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention another area course that most dont know even exists(but since it's not a GN listed course ill go ahead). 40mi south, in Colquitt is Crooked Oak and it is JUST as great of a course as Bagby. All of the same attributes but with an even lower rate. The advantage Crooked Oak has over Bagby is that they are open 7days a week while Meadow Links is Thursday-Sunday. You cant go wrong with either in the south Georgia/south Alabama area

Meadowlinks is pretty much my favorite course within 200 miles, challenging layout, good conditions, staff is always friendly and helpful. I will continue to play here for years to come. A+

The course, once you play it, you always think what you could do next round to improve your game against the course. Greens are perfect right now. The staff goes above and beyond and it shows in the quality of this course. Staff is super friendly and when I left my cup at the register, a member of the staff caught us on the second hole with my cup. A South Georgia Gem!!

Course is great as always. A real gem for our area and the new lodge at George T Bagby is awesome. Greens roll true. Layout is a challenge as it should be! A family outing for us almost every weekend!!

If it was a little closer I’d play every single week. Love this track. Good price, well maintained, ladies in the clubhouse are always wonderful. 10 out of 10

Greens need a little work but they are usually in great shape and I am sure the spring rain has hindered them getting back to normal condition.

Greens have been a little dormant and almost shaggy by this course standards but appears they have been sprayed and are coming awake for summer!!

I play with my wife 20 games in Georgia.

This time we did'nt have a 5 persons foursome

The pace of play was fantastic

I did 500 miles to play here during my 14 days over here.

On the website : we do not see that they are not open on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday

I would have chosen more brazell or Laura walker if I knewed

Came from Alabama to play this course and forgot about the 1 hr time change. Called course and told them we would be late. Girl was great and said she would fit us in no problem. Good layout. Green fairways with grass! Greens were fast and receptive. Some bunkers were just ok but not what previous reviews said. All were playable and some were really good. Round was under 4 hours. Great bargain. Would play again.

Recently burned all the sage around the fairways and the course is really green. The greens have a few weeds that are under control and always roll true. Fast. State park at George T. Bagby has brand new amenities and cabins. Well worth the visit!! Enjoy!!

Exactly what the title says. Layout and design are very fun and challenging. Fairways, rough and greens in good condition. Staff very friendly and good amenities(clubhouse, paths, plenty of water.)

Only negative is the bunkers are unplayable and look terrible. Im not sure how expensive sand is but Im sure the state of Georgia can afford some.

I will come back when in the area after they fix the bunkers.

So fortunate to live close to this course. We play a couple times a month and despite the lack of playable white sand in the bunkers the course is challenging yet not stressful. Very pleasant!!

Awesome State Park GC- Cindy & the staff were great!

The greens were super fast and bunkers have always been so bad we pick out of them. The bunkers are dirt and rock not sand. We’ve enjoyed this course for years and wish it was open more days of the week and they would improve the bunkers.
