Chicopee Woods Golf Course - Village Nine

Course was in great condition, weather was wonderful about 75 degrees,played with really nice gentlemen, can’t wait to play again.

Give it a try, you want be disappointed.

The bad: The starter could be friendly. The group in front of us and behind us had the same complaint. We come to enjoy the day, and pay good money. Some courtesy by the starter would be nice. Like the courtesy received in the pro shop - who was very nice and was flexible in getting me back out after I had to take an extended break at the turn.

The course was in great shape. It had rained earlier, so the crowds stayed away. Drainage worked well; fairways were in great shape. Greens rolled well, although a bit inconsistent; bunkers were in good shape. I got some extra walking in due to cart path only, which was great. Really enjoyed the round except the start and the treatment by the starter.

Everybody at the golf course is friendly and helpful and the conditions are great. I recommend this golf course team anyone who loves Golf.

It was an excellent course.

The course set up was grate.

I'd love to play here again at a good price.

The Good - course conditions. especially the greens and bunkers, best I've seen for public golf in a while.

The Not So Good - the drink rip-off; if you want ice in your cart bucket, they force you to purchase a minimum 2 drinks at ridiculously jacked-up prices. Not very classy guys!

The course was tough enough but yet fair for the shot maker. I was fortunate to be paired up with a local who gave me excellent shot tips. The staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this course and would play again if in the area.

Chicopee Woods is a gem and I hope it stays that way 27 holes that are well groomed and aesthetically beautiful. The course is short but some funky approaches that will challenge short iron accuracy. Greens are surprisingly quick but not a lot of undulation. If your putter is good you can pick up shots. Sand is imported and it’s white fluffy a treat for this area. Don’t know how they do it with the price to play so figure the city being invested they get some tax surplus. My new favorite in North Georgia.

What an absolute gem of a public course. If no one would have said anything, I would’ve thought it was a private course all day. Long fairways were great. Greens were great. Practice facility was very good. Cannot ask for a better Golf experience. Too bad I was up this way for work or I would be coming here way more regularly.

The focus to slam more people in on each nine versus trying to maintain the pace of play is AWFUL!!! First nine 2.5 hours second nine almost 3 hours. Brutal

I've been meaning to come here for a while but the stars never aligned. Finally got a chance to break away and to my surprise, this was only 35 minutes away. I read a lot of the previous reviews, the good ones and the bad ones. Who ever said that the car paths are the smoothest in the area, they were not lying. Staff was super friendly. From the guy who checked you in, to the starter who gave some great tips about the course. Water dispensers and sand refills at every three to four holes. Ball and club cleaner on the cart with a cooler to boot. On board navigation was very helpful and I was able to see the group in front, to make sure we wouldn't hit into them. Beverage cart only came by twice. It could have been that she was the only one for 27 holes. Some greens were a bit burned or damaged but overall, the course was great. Lots of leaves but then again, this is a course in the middle of a forest. Adding to my list to bring out of town guest. Top 5 for me in North GA. Minimum wait, i would say 10 minutes total for the entire round.

In a great shape. If there were less leaves, it would’ve gotten a 5 out of 5 stars

Heard about Chicopee over the years but just never made a tee time.

This public 27 holes is one of the best conditions I’ve seen. Greens were perfect. Fairways were incredible and both at a level I don’t expect from a public course…especially one that gets 75,000 rounds a yr.

DEF gonna go back and make this a regular stop.
