The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Davis Love III, Laurel Island Links measures 7011 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 138 and a 74.8 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.

This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.

The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Challenging and in great shape right now!

I played this course once before during the Winter months and it has improved significantly. Fairways are in great shape, and the large tee boxes make it easy to find a nice spot to tee off. The greens are in really good shape, and looks like they can only get better with the nice weather. Some fairways are pretty tight to make it a good challenge, as well as some longer on average, Par 3's than other courses. The only complaint you can give this course is the Cart path's could use some renovations, but that seems to be the case in most public courses around Northeast FL.

Course was ok

Course layout was good but greens were spotty and dried up. Fairways were cut short for long rolls. Overall not too bad but not worth the money

Lowsey staff

The staff here is totally unprofessional. I brought a guest and paid for them to play and we were kicked out of the club for not having 2 bags. The greens are garbage and the fairway might as well be rough. Lowsey staff, Lowsey course. Horrible people. Pete and Tom need training.

Solid course but a bit pricey

Played late March. Condition of the tee boxes and greens were good. Fairway did have some patches that needed some help. No drink cart that I saw. Played mid day on Sunday.

Only complaint was it was priced out of the range of other courses in the area in similar condition

Pretty good

The course was in pretty fair condition considering it is only March. They greens did not have much grass on them so they were SUPER fast. It was hard to keep it close to the hole. I would play again though.
