There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. Golfer Reviews
Great Golf ⛳️ Course
It is a great golf course that challenges all skill levels... The pace of play was awful... We had to wait on every shot... There was one hole that had 3 groups waiting to tee off on... The only other recommendation my buddies and I have is that they get a cart person on the course serving drinks...
Best Value Around!
Great course. Traveled up from Fernandina Beach area where public golf isn’t the best/available. Was stunned at how nice the course was. Greens and fairways were immaculate along with great tee boxes. Bar and clubhouse were great also. Grass driving range and huge putting/chipping area to warmup. I’d recommend this to anyone.
Still a solid course
I’ve played here many times but not in a couple of years. Course was in good shape all around. Clubhouse looks fantastic as does the practice green. Driving range has always been a little suspect, no change here. Some of the holes look different given the new home construction thinning out some of the wooded areas along the fairways. Hoping the growth in the area continues to bring more players to this course. Staff was incredibly friendly. Nice work Laurel Island team!
Much improved and heading in the right direction
Played the course a couple of years ago, thought I would never go back. After reading the most recent reviews I was encouraged to see some real changes had been made. Yes, the course was much improved. Fairways good shape, greens rolled well. A reasonably good value for $50. Still work to do but liked the progress. The bunkers needed attention and still a few bare spots around the course but overall acceptable. Keep up the good work and hope to see further improvements soon.
Hot day south ga.
Course condition defiantly on up swing, sand traps better and raked, fairway really good shape some tee boxes needed help but could tell was being worked on so with the new mngment I can see many improvements and even in the heat very good experience and will be playing more often .
Great Layout Very Challenging
Very challenging for a beginner, but I had a great time. It's a great course to play, the fairway and greens were in great condition I will definitely be playing there again.
Great Course
The staff are amazing, the course is always evolving for the best...
Greens
Over all played this course many times, greens were always terrible, well their working on the greens and their getting much better !
Laurel Island
Course for the most part was in great condition. A couple greens showed some seasonal distress but nothing to take away from playability.
Great shape and Pace of Play
Course was in great shape. Greens a little spotty but a great day for our foursome.
Just OK
They have definitely put some money into the course as the tees, fairway, hole markings are in much better shape than in past years. The greens however are showing signs of trouble and need some serious attention. I am somewhat biased in that I have never favored the layout in that I find the par 3's boring and too many of the par fours being pitch and putt holes. .
Course
The course itself is in good shape , but they have green work to take care of then the course will be great , but quite a bit of green work .
