It's visually stunning, you hardly ever get a flat lie and if you're going to challenge his design, be prepared to pay the consequences if you fail. Pound Ridge Golf Club, located about an hour north of New York City, remains the only Pete Dye design in New York, and it's one of his most difficult and beautiful. The club had been operating out of what seemed to be a temporary clubhouse, but now it's been expanded into a permanent venue.
