Not worth the money.
Tee boxes and fairways in terrible shape. Greens were long and slow and felt like had to smash a 10 ft putt like a 30 ft lag putt to get it to the hole. Thus taking away all feel.
For half the money I can play a course in similar shape closer to home. Sad part $70 is winter rate and will go up closer to summer. Resort was beautiful and course not so much.
East course okay could be great
I'm not going to be too critical because it is early in the season and at least you can play golf down here unlike Ohio at this time of year. I really wish they would warn you when the greens are being aerated. Ball was jumping all over the place hard to get a true score. Pace of play today was atrocious. Ended up skipping the last four holes as we had already been on the course for almost 5 hours
Bunkers need attention
I played the east course on 2/14 & 2/17/25.
1 would never pay the normal rate to play either of the two Grandover courses. The price is not justified by the course conditions. Even with hot deal rates between $50 - $65 , there are other public golf courses that are kept in better shape and cost less..
Stoney Creek, Bryon Park & Forest Oaks are just a few examples.
More recently, on the East course, bunkers have red clay instead of sand.
Nice golf course and a challenging layout.
Very nice course and challenging layout. Greens were in good shape and rolled well, fairways/rough are "winter dead". Only complaint was we had a foursome and within the first three holes we had to let two twosomes and a single player play thru! I can understand the twosomes, but allowing a single player in the middle of the day should not happen...
Too Wet for Play
Great weekday rate and I enjoy the course but they had rain the night before and the course was borderline unplayable. Balls were getting imbedded (and many times lost) all over the course. I’m new to the area but now I know to avoid this course when it has gotten any rain.

This course is beautiful, challenging, and well kept. Always a great time!

Great course! Fantastic layout and the conditions were ideal for a late November day. Will definitely play the East course again.
BEST COURSE
Not only is Grandover the most beautiful course you’ll EVER play, the staff and all other employees treat you as if you have been friends forever…they are kind, courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your day of golf goes as good as it possibly can…I NEVER get tired of playing this course

Had this course on our list for awhile - I would definitely recommend to go play! Our day was impacted by wind and leaves - I think we lost about 8 balls between us due to all the leaves in the fairway - totally not the fault of the course though but it was a bit frustrating. The layout is good, challenging for both of us as lefties! The greens were still in really great shape, very fast but true! Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly and accommodating. Again, would absolutely recommend to any level player!.
