About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Always enjoy playing Blair Park. Course was extremely wet due to all the rain, and it was carts on path, so lots of walking, but it was fine. Course was in really good shape despite the weather and the staff is always so friendly there.
Ahead of The Curve
Blair is in really good shape already and I was pleasantly surprised. I have played two different private courses this week that weren’t in this good of shape. There are still some bumps on the green from being punched, but nothing egregious. Greens are pretty slow as they are letting them grow (don’t want to lose them in early heat?), but they played just fine for me.
Excellent fun and budget friendly course
I love this course, we played on Saturday along a tournament, of course it was slow but still had a blast. Recommend this course 100%.

Blair Park in February
Golf course was in very good shape despite all the rain recently and it being mid February. Green were quick as well. The staff there are so pleasant and personable, even offering to take me back to my car when I returned the cart.
Always enjoyable. No warm-up area.
Something has happened to the net in the warmup area. Other than that happening; another great day at the park!
Great Staff and everyone had golf ethics on the course!
Everyone was playing at a decent pace to where it was hardly a wait to play your turn.
Get a burger and tater tots!

Painfully SLOOOW. Boring layout.
This course has become extremely crowded. It's in good shape but they really need to do something about the pace of play. I'm sure the price brings lots of beginners to this course. Saw lots of groups with that looked like this was there first time on a golf course. Hitting multiple tee shots on every hole, driving carts too close to the greens, looking for lost balls for way too long, and taking way too much time on the green. It's really frustrating. We were playing as a twosome in a cart and the round took 5.5 hours. The rangers really need start pushing people a little more. The worst part was the group in front of us (clearly new to playing golf) was playing the back tees and none of them were hitting the ball over 200 yds. This course is cheap and in good condition but the layout is pretty boring. Not worth spending 6 hours to play. I guess you get what you pay for right? Won't be coming back for a while.
