About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Wish they would redo the greens.
Blair Park is my go to course if I want to just go out by myself in the afternoon and play a relaxing round. Its never a hassle getting on and usually not overly crowded on weekday afternoons. The layout is nothing special and it's a short easy course but from the back tees it's a little more of a challenge. I really wish they would redo the greens using one of the newer dwarf Bermuda strains. The greens are really grainy and slow. I'm a scratch golfer and a decent putter but on these greens it's pretty much pure luck if you make putts. That's my only gripe with the course. The staff is awesome, fairways are lush and a great place to work on your game...just not putting.

Great value for the money
Course was very enjoyable. Staff was very friendly. They have a hole closed on front 9 for construction. Greens were in great shape for this time of year.

Bearable
Hole 7 is closed for repairs, pretty hard for drying purposes so it stays wet for a good amount of time after rainfall.
something to consider.
but still good to get a round in and practice.

Had a hole closed and didn't mention it in the clubhouse. Construction going on. Greens were super slow. Not my best experience at Blair park

Please bear with us as we work diligently to make improvements. We hope you'll give us another try in the future. Thanks for choosing Blair Park Golf Course.
Disappointed in course conditions.
Because one whole was closed and another shortened for repairs, a reduced fee would have been nice. Course was drenched, doesn't drain well. Snack bar workers were very nice and friendly.

Amazing Course Conditions
The course overall are amazing. The fairways and rough are kept in pristine condition and the majority of greens and tee boxes are in great shape too. There a few greens that have some patches but overall great and have a solid speed to them.
