About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Wheres the water
Water on hole 15 only on 92 degree day. Make sure and bring your own!

Lots of fun!
I had a great time on the course but I would recommend having the ranger go around the course more to see if there is back up. There were two 4 somes in front of two 2 somes. Also, the golfers would not let anyone play through so it created a back up when it could’ve been resolved by a ranger.
Good course for the money.
Blair Park is a great course to play. Fairways and greens are average. Always nice to get out and tune up on the course.

Greens are as good as I played this year
I was playing a practice round by myself,
The pace was a little slow but it was a beautiful day & I wasn’t in a hurry, plus the coarse was packed. Plenty of grass in the fairway, a couple of tee boxes were worn. This older course needs some old growth trees cut back, but it’s really in great shape.

No Dress Code
I just confirmed that Blair does not have a dress code. Women can wear sports bras and blue jean short shorts. The guy that answered the phone said yes, not a problem and started laughing. Unprofessional.
need rangers to enforce slow play
followed a 4 some all the way through round and would not allowed to play through. golf courtesy not there.
Drains Well
Could not be better on a wet day. I was quite surprised that the fairways remained quite firm on a rainy week.
It made enjoyable what could have been a messy day.
For a public course, it was well worth the time as a practice round.

Conditions from tee to green have never been better. Putting surfaces are true and smooth.

had a 4 some from start to finish and never offered to play through. caught them every hole and had to wait. below avg golfers also.

It is what it is. The fact of the matter is it’s a nice little getaway for a afternoon. It’s close and it’s cheap. It’s perfect for working on you game
