Blair Park Golf Course

This course has become extremely crowded. It's in good shape but they really need to do something about the pace of play. I'm sure the price brings lots of beginners to this course. Saw lots of groups with that looked like this was there first time on a golf course. Hitting multiple tee shots on every hole, driving carts too close to the greens, looking for lost balls for way too long, and taking way too much time on the green. It's really frustrating. We were playing as a twosome in a cart and the round took 5.5 hours. The rangers really need start pushing people a little more. The worst part was the group in front of us (clearly new to playing golf) was playing the back tees and none of them were hitting the ball over 200 yds. This course is cheap and in good condition but the layout is pretty boring. Not worth spending 6 hours to play. I guess you get what you pay for right? Won't be coming back for a while.

First of all Iwant to say, ILOVE THIS COURSE. The variety of hole layouts and the work that your maintenance crews perform are outstanding. The only complaint I have is the pace of play. Particularly the walking foursomes. I understand that when walking a golf course takes more time however, the rangers should allow foursomes with carts play through. That would speed things up for the golfer that wants too move along at a good pace. Please, have the rangers time pace of play and not be hesitant to ask walkers to let carts play thru

Great value for this course. Conditions average and the layout just okay. Placement golf on quite a few holes but wide open fairways on a lot of Holes. The value makes this course popular and pace of play slow. But overall a good experience and will probably play again. Greens just adequate.

This course is in the best shape I’ve seen it all year and I’ve played it over a handful of times this year starting spring. Greens are rolling true. The only bad part of the day was the foursome in front of us hitting multiple tee shots EVERY hole and NEVER once offered to let a TWOSOME in a cart, play through. Other than that I’d recommend it before it gets too cold this year.

of all of the courses I play in the piedmont triad, this is definitely my favorite. staff is extremely friendly, course in good shape, and it's inexpensive to play.

Enjoyable course for average golfer except for excruciating pace of play. Took 5.5 hours to play 18 - in a cart!. I saw several golfers who had no earthly idea what they were doing. Course has a Ranger but was probably overwhelmed at the sheer numbers of novice slow players. Great Muni course. Just don't make dinner plans.

Book at tee time for 3:39 and was told I wouldn’t finish 18 holes and it really just felt as if they didn’t want to be there saying carts back in at 6:45 and the isolated part of the course with a few holes the ranger was a jerk telling us he locks the gates at 6:15 …… with 3 groups in front of us on a weekend they will threaten to lock you in. On top of that the new hire they had was screaming on his phone cussing and saying tons of slurs on the phone for everyone to hear. Will honestly never recommend this to course to anyone or will i ever return

This course is not long, however you must be able to move the ball in two directions or you will not score well. Better fairway grass than some private clubs in the area. The scenery is not the greatest as the course utilized the power line acreage to carve a nice little track in the middle of high point. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be back. The only drawback no driving range as there is no space for one. They have a hitting net for warm-up.

I play Blair Park 2-3 times a week; it's my go-to course when I want to work on my game. The fairways are beautiful, greens are okay (have a little crabgrass starting to come in); layout is fairly easy on most holes. Front side Par 3's can be somewhat challenging. Par 5's are pretty easy. The staff is ABOSOLUTELY magnificent! Chip and Cailin are great, great people! I also play at two other local courses (Oak Hollow and Jamestown) and this is BY FAR the place to go! Staff is definitely friendlier than other two places. And, as a senior walker, you can't beat the price - which is part of the reason why I'm still living in North Carolina. Golf is cheaper here, as a whole, than anywhere else I've played in the country.

Great municipal course,friendly staff, great grill.

I don't know why I stopped playing this course. But now I really enjoy it. The fairways and greens are in great condition for a course that is inexpensive. I recommend this course to anyone looking to play affordable golf.

Blair Park is my go to course if I want to just go out by myself in the afternoon and play a relaxing round. Its never a hassle getting on and usually not overly crowded on weekday afternoons. The layout is nothing special and it's a short easy course but from the back tees it's a little more of a challenge. I really wish they would redo the greens using one of the newer dwarf Bermuda strains. The greens are really grainy and slow. I'm a scratch golfer and a decent putter but on these greens it's pretty much pure luck if you make putts. That's my only gripe with the course. The staff is awesome, fairways are lush and a great place to work on your game...just not putting.
