About
Oak Hollow Golf Course is one of two municipally owned golf courses in High Point, N.C. This Pete Dye design is the newer and more popular of the two. The layout features several Dye signatures including pot bunkers and railroad ties but it's the small, undulating greens that are the most recognizable Dye trademark. The golf course has an interesting mix of holes, including several risk-reward opportunities. It's a course that will make you think, rewarding strategy and accuracy over might. The signature hole is the par-4 sixth. This 420-yard hole wraps around a lake with an island tee at the tips that will test the brave. Oak Hollow's toughest hole, though, is the 437-yard 11th, also a par 4. You'll need a perfectly placed tee shot and then after you're met with a triple-tiered green that sits along the water's edge.

New Carts
Play here a lot. I like the layout and the people. The greens aren’t the best, but they’re pretty good. Some very scenic holes by the water. Pace was very good , 3 hours 45 minutes. Just always a fun day here
Oak Hollow GC
People in the club were rude but that’s normal here. Muddy as can be so it was cart path only
Great course to practice your game if your local and the price is amazing
I will never turn down playing around at Oak Hollow. The golf course is awesome for the price. Plus it has some great views and tough water holes. You’ve got to play smart on the back nine

Oak Hollow
I enjoyed playing the course for the first time. Would definitely need to play it one or two more times to feel comfortable with learning where to hit drives.

Great golf course and always has been. However, just booking too many people on this course and Blair Park too. Last times we've played both, had to play front nine twice to make it by dark. And it wasn't our group being slow, got to #10 at Oak Hollow at 3:05 and asked to play front again, which we did and was done by 430. Groups in front of us, including a 5some, were on 16 when we pulled out of parking lot.

Slow, Slower, Slowest
Rolling fairways wit some severe slopes on the greens, Oak Hollow is still a good layout around the lake. Greens were a bit beat up, mainly due to ball marks. I know it was Saturday, but waiting on every shot and 5 hr round is just no fun. Please stop trying to get every available body on the course and find a way to move play along. Ranger was out, but no one was paying attention.

If I could give 6 stars!
It has been far too long. It has been decades since I was last on this course. It will not be that long again for my next visit. This course is a gem! Overall not the longest course but it is very challenging. The greens are classic bent and rare now in the south. They roll very true but are slow compared to other courses but the undulations on the greens and false fronts over plenty of a challenge to find the hole. The views from the holes surrounding lake are amazingly beautiful. We were there with the color change almost at peak. This couse is a tremendous value and is under-appreciated by so many that don't fix their pitchmarks. Bottom-line bring your a-game or a ton of balls. Love the course, shame on me for not visiting more often.
